Hide in plain sight,
Seen yet unobserved like the briefest flash of light.
Day or night,
Swift is the blade delivering judgement,
Smiting the guilty without mercy yet staying from the flesh of all innocent.
May the Brotherhood remain unknown,
Set far from sight and mind,
Those a part keep deadly secrets they must always safely bind.
These words resonate through,
As an Assassin knows nothing is really true;
Held together by fear and complacency,
Society is fragile atop foundations of sand,
It will eventually collapse.
Everything is permitted,
Any action may be performed,
So will you accept the truth of that when it confronts your eyes?
Wisdom has no final form,
For it would surely cease to be,
Yet the Creed may show us something close,
At least maybe to me.
