A/N : war never happened, Hermione's a Zabini, she's roommates with her brother and close friends with Draco, Pansy and Theo, also it's after Hogwarts. Also the idea came from Hogwarts_ismy_home1
3rd person pov.
Hermione came back from her appointment in the muggle hospital. She was always dizzy and they didn't find anything in St-Mungos. So she went to the nearest muggle hospital, her brother oblivious to it all.
She entered her appartement and sighed deeply.
"What's wrong 'Mione?" Blaise asked, concerned.
"Nothing," She snapped back. She never looked him in the eyes. She couldn't lie to him. She stood up and stormed towards her room, slamming the door after her.
Draco, Hermione's boyfriend for the last year, stood up and walked after her. Pansy and Theo, who were also there, exchanged a look. They were waiting for Hermione To surprise her since she was always in a bad mood. They were going to try and cheer her up.
Draco walked in Hermione's room, only to find her bailing her eyes out, hugging a pillow.
"Mia? What's wrong?" Draco sat down next to her. He pulled her towards him. She was crying her head in her knees that were pulled up to her chest.
"I'm sorry Dray..." She mumbled to his chest. Draco didn't mind though, as long as she was comfortable or happy he never minded. But here she was crying into his chest.
"What is it? Mia, tell me. Please?" Draco said after he tilted up her chin. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying. As Draco looked her in the eye Hermione started sobbing louder.
"I'm sick Draco!" She all but shouted.
"Hey, look at me, we can fix this alright? Remember it is just us against the world."
"No, we can't Draco" she sobbed. "It's not fixable with magic. If... if I want to survive... They'll have to do a operation, Dray..." Draco looked shocked at what she just said. He quickly recomposed himself and asked something that made her sob even louder.
"Then why are you crying? It can be solved!"
"Draco... The operation has only a 10% surviving chance (I made the surviving chance up). I... I have a brain tumor" She mumbled the last part hoping he didn't hear.
"Shh, have you told your brother yes?" She shook her head. "He's here and so are Pansy and Theo. Do you want to tell them?"
This time she nodded her head. Draco pulled her on her feet and towards the living room.
"Guys, can you sit down for a bit?" Draco asked them. Everyone took a seat on the sofa. Draco squeezed Hermione's hand to sign her to go on.
"I'm sorry for snapping at you Blaise." She started but Blaise interrupted her.
"Don't worry about it. Are you alright?"
"No, I-" She started sobbing again. She shot Draco, a look that asked him to tell them. Draco pulled her in a hug and put his head on top of hers.
"Hermione visited a muggle hospital today. They found something that made her upset" Draco shot her a look and she nodded. "She had a brain tumor."
Tears popped up in his eyes as he explained what Hermione had told him not too long ago. Pansy pulled Hermione in a hug.
Blaise wanted to give his twin a reassuring hus when she fainted and fell to the floor. They tried to wake her up, but they got no reaction. Due to Draco's quick thinking, they were in the muggle hospital where she was told about the tumor.
Once they arrived, Hermione was wheeled away to the OR. Draco was the person Hermione had pointed to, to make decisions for her when she couldn't, for situations like this one.
Draco decided the operation was the best option Hermione got at the moment, so Hermione was undergoing an operation at the moment. In the waiting room Pansy was trying to calm her boyfriend down while Theo tried to do the same for Draco.
Hours passed. Blaise was asleep, but Draco didn't even think of that if he didn't know she was okay.
Then, after 9 hours a doctor walked towards them. Draco jumped up at him.
"How is she?" He asked anxiously.
"She's asking for someone called Dray," Draco started crying from happiness. She was one of that 10%.
