Draco had just caught the snitch after three hours of playing against Ravenclaw. Blaise flew over to him and pulled him in a side hug.

"Good job, mate!" Blaise jelled in his ear, a little bit too enthusiastic. Pansy Parkinson and Daphne Greengrass joined the celebrations not too long after.

Draco looked up, trying to find a certain brown, bushy haired, Gryffindor bookworm. He soon spotted her next to Astoria Greengrass, her nose in a book. Her favorite and at the same time the one Draco had given her for her sixteenth birthday. 'Hogwarts, a history', one of the originals. Hermione simply adored that book.

She glanced over her book, to find her secret boyfriend, for the last 2 years, looking at her. She blushed under his intense stare. He felt caught and looked back to his friends, trying to block the image of her face out of his mind. Failing miserably.

For a brief moment, Astoria thought he was looking at her. She smiled back politely but when he didn't notice her, she looked to her side to find a blushing Hermione.

"Mione, why are you blushing?" Astoria smirked. She saw the way Draco looked at her. It was the same way Theo, her boyfriend, looked at her, Blaise looked at Pansy, Harry at Ginny and Ron at Daphne.

"I'm not blushing," Hermione stuttered.

"Yeah and I'm a Hufflepuf." She answered laughing. To Hermione's surprise their whole friend group had joined them by now. The Gryffindors, being Harry, Ron and Ginny, and the Slytherins, being Theo, Blaise, Pansy, Daphne and Draco.

"Since when are you a Hufflepuf?" Ron asked, believing her.

"I'm not. It's just as real as what Hermione said!"

"What did she say?"

"That she wasn't blushing! *cough cough* still is." Hermione took a quick glance at Draco, who subtelly shrugged.

"I'm not!"

"Yes you are!" Blaise laughed.

"Draco what do you know about this?"

"Huh? Why would I know?"

"I don't know, maybe because you were staring at her with a lovestruck look?" Hermione tried to hide her face in the book, but Astoria took it from her. As she closed it her eye fell on the first page, where something was written.

For my love, happy birthday! Love Draco

"Was not" Draco denied, starting to blush.

"Okay, but what means this?" Astoria shoved the book to Draco, open on the page of his writing. Draco stayed silent as did Hermione. It was almost two years they were together seeing it was may.

"Hermione's birthday is in september! You have been dating so long without us noticing? How?" Ron exclaimed. Draco and Hermione blushed scarlet.

"In a week it'll actually be 2 years." Hermione corrected him, quickly slamming a hand over her mouth after.

"Did you lie to us?" Harry asked, slightly disappointed.

"No you guys never asked and we didn't have the need to tell you" Draco said resting his arm around Hermione's shoulders. He kissed her cheek making her blush in embarrassment.

"Well congrats I think?" Theo joked. Soon everyone joined in the laughter and Draco gave Hermione a quick kiss.

"See not so bad huh?" He asked her with a smirk. In response she slapped his chest playfully.
