"So any ideas?" I ask.
"We could take an elevator?" Liam asks.
"There aren't any." Lauren says,
"Well is their a trash shoot or something?" James asks.
"There could be. But where?" I say.
"I don't know?" Lauren says.
"There has to be some sort of secret entrance. How else would Nick have gotten here?" I say.
"Yeah, but where would it be?" James asks.
"I really don't know." I say.
Knock knock knock.
"Guys, listen, I think I hear something!" I say.
Knock knock knock
"I think I hear it too!" Liam says.
"Me too!" James and Lauren say.
"Is anyone there?" I ask. No reply.
"I'll go down and look." James says.
As he climbs down from the tree, he is careful, but swift, like a cat hunting a mouse. He walks around the tree and even a little bit into the pond.
"No one here." James says.
Knock knock knock
"Where is that coming from!" I ask.
"Well we're not going to find out if we're sitting up here." I say.
"Okay, let's go down and look." Lauren says.
"Alright." I say. As we all get down from the tree.
Knock knock knock
"Hey guys! I think it's coming from behind this tree!" Liam says.
I walk over, and see nothing, maybe there's someone buried under the moss and mud, this tree is, close to a swamp.
"Hey guys, maybe someone, or something, is buried under here!" I say.
Everyone comes over, and in minutes, we start to see something, it's round, big, black and has lots of holes in it.
"What is it?" James asks.
"A man hole cover genius!" Lauren says
Knock knock knock
"We're coming, just wait a minute!" I yell.
We finally get the man hole cover off, which is amazing, because we needed everyone's strength to get it open, but what's even more amazing is what's inside.
"I thought......I thought you guys were dead." Liam says.
"No way!" James says.
"Ellie? Jerry? How did you get here? How are you even alive?" Lauren says.
"Just pull us out, we're too weak to do it ourselves." Ellie whispers.
"Oh, of course Ellie." Lauren says.
We pull them out and get them to sit against the tree, they look like they both, haven't had food or water, for what? Five days. I can still see that Jerry has that huge wound on his stomach.
"Ellie, Jerry? Can you tell us how you got here?" Lauren says calmly.
And with that, they pass out.
