back story: louis is dating y/n but before was dating millie. louis and millie had broken up because millie was in love with finn, and she left louis heartbroken and still in love with her. later, louis finds someone perfect for him, y/n. y/n loves louis dearly even when she knows louis is still in love with millie and when louis doesn't love her back or give her the attention back.

"hi, louis!" i greeted louis with a big smile as he walked through the door.
"hi..." louis mumbled whilst hanging his coat and taking off his shoes. he didn't even look at me once, but i still smiled at him.
louis walked past me and walked into the kitchen, pouring himself a glass of water.
"how was your photoshoots?" i interrupted the silence.
"good." was all louis said before he put his glass in the sink and plopped himself on the couch.
"hey, i was wondering if you wanted to go out with me tomorrow? just me and you?" i wondered if he would like to hang out with me.
louis turned on the tv and flipped through the channels, completely ignoring me.
it hurt but i still kept a great smile and patiently waited for louis' response.
i then heard louis sigh. "sure." louis finally responded.
i gleamed with happiness! "really?!" i excitedly asked.
and just then, butterflies swarmed my stomach when i saw louis look up at me and slightly smile.
i smiled right back at him, going to hug him.
and surprisingly, he hugged me back. it wasn't a tight embrace, it was just a hand slightly wrapped around my back.
but just these little things louis does makes me happy.
next day.
i woke up on the couch laying on top of louis, resting my head on his chest.
i smiled.
"louis, love, wake up." i carefully shook him.
louis looked peaceful sleeping so i decided not to wake him up so i tried to quickly but carefully move out of his embrace.
