"i knew when i looked into your brown guilty eyes and little white lies," y/n spoke, filling in the silence.
"yeah, i played dumb but i always knew," y/n admitted making louis turn to look at her.
y/n hesitated before she looked at louis with sadness in her eyes.
"that you talked to her, maybe even did worse..." y/n whispered at the end making louis bow his head.
"i kept quiet so i could keep you, louis." y/n said with a painful tone.
"and ain't it funny how you ran to her the second we called it quits?"
"and ain't it funny how you said you were friends?"
"we were only friends y/n. i swear," louis whispered loudly as a tear fell from his eye.
"now it sure as hell don't look like it," y/n added making louis gulp before he looked down again.
"you betrayed me." y/n let out making louis look at her with sorrow in his eyes.
"and i know that you'll never feel sorry for the way i hurt, yeah..." y/n told louis as her vision became blurry.
"i am sorry. i am. i really am. i love you." louis apologised trying to hold y/n's hand before she quickly moved it.
"you talked to her when we were together..." y/n softly spoke.
"loved you at your worst. but that didn't matter," y/n added.
"she was only a friend. please, y/n i was still in love with you and i still am." louis tried to make things right, but y/n cut in.
