There are two very strong truths that are hard to swallow but I'm the end, you have to accept these truths.
Truth #1. You are born to be the main character of your life. If you are not currently the main character in your own life, then you have some something wrong and you need to fix it. You are not supposed to be a side character in your life. In the lives of others? Yes. You are meant to be a side character/support character because they are supposed to be the main character in their individual lives. That's the way it is supposed to be and it connects to the second truth.
Truth #2. People outside of yourself are not supposed to give your life meaning. You are supposed to have meaning in your life alone and they are simply here to support the meaning that is already there.
Your story is based on you, who you are and why you are here. If someone enters your life, they do so under their own spotlight. They do not adopt or buy your spotlight from you and therefore, replace you as the leading role in your life. In fact, another person entering your life should never take anything away from your story and your role.
Being a support character in someone else's life should also never take anything away from you being the leading role in your life. You have shit to do. It won't get done if you base your narrative around your side quests while ignoring the progression of your story.
Stop treating your life like it's a mini game and start showing up for your story. Otherwise, it will never be complete.
That being said, I will see you all in the upcoming chapter.
