The love of rain

"Ahhhgghh...:" you groaned, filing up towards the pantry in your house. It was empty, maybe a few packets here and there but otherwise, nothing you were going for.

It was a dark and drowsy afternoon, no peak of the sun was through your windows or any giggling and zooming of cars that would pass by on the regular in the city. It was splashing and the familiar drips and drops of water that were guiding off of your roof. Each making their own path down your windows creasing themselves against each other.

Usually, the sun was out and ready for the day. However, the lack of light and sleep woke you up late in the day waiting for your brunch only to find no food observant. You thought you told Shinsou to grab some food on the way back from the hero agency.

Your husband, Hitoshi Shinsou was one to forget those little things. But you didn't mind, he must have been tired from the dragging of coworkers on his back 24/7.

Turning from the door you made your way to the bedroom to see your husband still asleep in the bed, his muscular body spread against the ruffled sheets.

You smiled as you watched his body breathe delicately. Letting out a huff you made your way to the bathroom to get yourself fixed up and ready for the day of drowsiness to go get some things are done on the break your husband and you have.

After the towel was hanging and the clothes also hung around your body you started getting ready to go to the convenience store hoping it not to be so busy and or, stormed by fans. Even though you may not be a busy and famous hero, people know your husband.

"Where are you going?" a groggy voice echoed among the wet walls. Your body turned towards the voice in a little gasp seeing your husband dressing but still rubbing his eyes.

"I'm sorry, did I wake you?" you asked, worried. If you did wake him up you were going to put him back to sleep like a baby. He groaned and spread his over-grown hair to the side and pushed it back softly.

"No, no. I was up even when you were staring at me." he sighed, a little giggle escaped his mouth with a smile attached. Your face lit up with a light blush and also giggled, grabbing your umbrella and looking at the door.

"Raining?" he asked, rubbing the back of his neck. You looked back at him as he looked towards the big window in the room even though some of the curtains were over them. You knew Shinsou wasn't a fan of rain as much as you might be, it was drowsy and he didn't want that on top of his usual attitude to make himself feel down and tired overall.

"Yeah, all morning." you sighed, watching his eyes search the city as he stood there turning his body back to yours.

"I'm going to the store quickly." you finally replied.

Then he snapped and groaned.

"Sorry, I forgot about that last night... here, I'll go with you." he apologized and grabbed his keys and wallet already planning ahead. You shook your head quickly, "You should sleep, you have been working for 4 days on the 7... you need to relax. And don't you hate the rain?"

He walked gently towards you and a bit of the kitchen lights were dimmed by his body. As he put his hands on your shoulders then looked for the umbrella in your hand.

"Still not a fan but, I will rather be with you than home alone for an hour or so.." he said, now opening the door to the rain that spread across the pavement swiftly. You smiled and grabbed his hand as you too walked out of the house with the umbrella spread over your heads.

Shinsou grabbed your waist tightly bringing you closer to himself as he walked along the sidewalk down to the store. The cars passed by with only light splashes onto the sidewalk as both of you admired the rain and the trees that passed it on to each other by their leaves. The buildings you guys were passing were going by swiftly as you arrived at the store with only some of your arms wet and the damp hair that stretched on the sides of your foreheads.
