* bang *
That sound you always have to constantly remind yourself...
* bang *
That your boyfriend was dumb.
* bang *
But he couldn't help himself.
* bang *
He was a ... bird?
* bang bang bang *
This sound was always replaying in your mind. Every single day, your boyfriend. I mean ... bird? Would forget that there are windows in your apartment. How dumb could he be?
Yes this was funny, but seriously, he is also half human. You don't always leave your windows open.
* Bang *
Your head swiftly turned towards the sudden bang. Your eyes quickly widened at what you saw before you. Your boyfriend, his body crumbled against the floor of your balcony rubbing his sore forehead.
Your mouth hung open at the scene in front of you, this was the first time.
His ass was flat against the glass, his long legs struggled above his head. One of his legs where definitely out of place. Hawks looked very.. uncomfortable.
Your eyes scanned his body again in shock, sure you have seen him in a position like this before but he was in serious pain. You snapped back to life, moving off of the comfy bed.
You quickly ran towards the side balcony door, dodging the papers that were scattered against the wooden floor. You swiftly opened the door shooting your head out to look at him.
" Oh my god Hawks, are you okay?" you asked, lowering your body to offer him some help.
Your arms ducked under is hips, resting your palm on the back. You tried to lift him up slightly, missing his trouble to move.
Hawks grunted, still running his palm on his swollen forehead. A small smile ran across his face.
"Heh... Yeah yeah i'm fine." he stated with an interesting tone.
" Are you sure? You don't look good!" you yelled, it coming out more eager than you wanted it too. He moved his arms to the side quickly lifting himself up to rub the back of his neck sighing. A nervous laugh left his mouth, his mind spinning.
Your body was still arched down to where your boyfriend was currently resting. You looked up to see his body shifting from side to side in a slow motion.
Before you could properly stand up this man starts to fall to the side.
"Keigo!" you yelled, ducking your body under his forehead catch him. The sudden weight in your arms dragging you down. You looked at him rolling your eyes.
Let's say there was a hospital visit after that.
That was the first time that happened.
Of course there were many other times..
Like when he ran into the glass in your workroom, or when he bounced off the glass and landed in your front yard...
He also broke the glass once but we aren't going to mention that.
This man was really stupid.
So, you had to come up with an idea to stop that stupidity.
Your mind was focused on the puzzle in front of you. The satisfaction of the pieces fitting together in one picture was amazing. Your body couldn't lead away from it. Currently, it was 8:30 PM . You knew if you took a break after at least 15 minutes you would make your way back to the forbidden table. So you stayed, ignoring the stack of papers at the edge of your desk.The darkness of the room stayed there, not searching for the light that raised against your body. The street lights gently danced against the curtains of your apartment. No wind grazed past them.
Your hands moved across the table to reach for the piece that was for filled for the picture, your elbow hitting the stacks of papers. They suddenly landed to the ground in a sudden splat. Causing you to flinch at the noise. Your eyes quickly ran over to the paper on the ground. Different colors of them spread across. You rolled your eyes, looking at them. The side of anger raged through your body.
His eyes scanned the open room, preparation was ready for the 'landing' . His wings formed in the diving position ready to swarm into the balcony, landing right against your bed. Not your window.
* bang! *
Your body jumped at the noise, causing your head to swipe towards the window. The shadow of a shriveled form against the glass.
"Oh my god." you whispered to yourself. You got out your seat opening the door. There he was.. laying against the window.
"Keigo... my curtains... how could you not see my curtains?!" you yelled, maybe enough for the neighbors to wake up. His eyes looked towards your figure, sighing again.
God..
You shifted towards him lending out your hand towards his, him swiftly taking it. You harshly tugged him up, waking towards the door. You weren't mad. Just pissed? How could he not see the curtains? It's been so many times that he has done that. Has he not noticed? You charged back into your bedroom ignoring the wobbling boyfriend behind you.
"Heh... sorry, you can't blame me! I'm a bird!" Keigo laughed differently, trying to avoid the spinning brain. You rolled your eyes sitting back into your desk going straight back to your work.
Keigo walked up behind you leaning his elbow on the chair, watching your hands place the puzzle pieces perfectly.
He kept on watching you until the pressure of his gaze caught you, " Are you just going to stare? Why—why did you even come visit?" you asked now turning around to be face to face with him.
He was quiet, just staring into your eyes. You tilted your head to side in question.
"Eh—hello? Earth to Keigo?" you asked, flicking his forehead. He jumped.
"S-sorry just zoned out! But i couldn't resist your beautiful eyes.." he said now zooming in on you.
You rolled your eyes again, turning back to the desk.
This man is going to have his brain knocked out one day. Your eyes scanned the desk again only to find a neon light shine from your left. You looked towards it, the bright light looking back.
It was a pile of sticky notes.
Your eyes scanned it again. Your conscience telling you something, okay but seriously there was something about it. Something that could solve all your problems right now.
Then it hit you.
You quickly grabbed the notes, scrabbled out of your chair and ran out the balcony door. Keigo watched your run towards it, him following after.
"Hey kid! What are you doing?" he yelled opening the door to see you taking the sticky notes off of the packet and placing them on the window.
His brows furrowed in confusion. Okay? Were the roles switched now? Are you going to be the one out of your mind?
Your hands firmly pressed the notes onto the window, putting them in one big circle. The sticky notes formed more of a heart.. but you were definitely aiming for a circle. You stepped back and admired your masterpiece.
Keigo looked at the window, and then back at you. Your eyes leading back to his confused ones.
"It's so you don't run into the windows anymore... something the street lights can reflect off i guess." you said, now putting the notes down on the table.
Keigo eyes narrowed against the window, trying to firmly process on what you had just said. Then it snapped.
Fucking genius.
