Blue Butterfly

The Real Truth

It was dinner time. Socker, me, Ariana and her parents were waiting for food to arrive.

"It smells so good!" Socker smiled while he played with the fork.

"It sure dose..." I said and started to think about what Ariana said that other day in the garden. She smiled but she didn't want me to tell her parents about it, I wonder why....

"Ariana, honey." Lady Loyd looked on the other side of the table where Ariana was. "We have something important to tell you." "What is it?" Little girl asked back with her usual calm face.

"Me and your father tought about if for a while now and..." She stoped when food finely came. Me and Socker watched them and slowly started eating our meal.

"You see... We tought about your marrige." She said with big smile. Sir Loyd nodded and gave a kiss on the cheek to his wife while Arianas eyes opened in suprise. I never saw her making that angry, scared and suprised face before. She fast stood up and threw her plate on the floor, breaking it.

"You tought about what!?" She screamed.

"Calm down, we found a good man for you." Sir Loyd said a bit cold but he tried to keep his smile.

"Who ever it is, I will NOT marry him!?" She ran to the doors. "I've been sick of you making my life choices for me!" You could hear her voice from the coridor.

"Wait! Ariana!" Me and Socker stood up and screamed after her in the same time.

"I'll fix this." I looked at the Sir and Lady Loyd and ran after her while Socker stayed with Loyds.

"Ariana! Where are you!?" I called her but there was no answer. When I came to one of the rooms I could hear sobbing.

"Ariana?" I asked with warm voice.

"Go away!" She shouted.

"Hey, little lady... It's okay, calm down." I walked clouser to the corner where she was and I could see tears on her cheeks.

"No it's not okay!" She said. "You don't know everything so just leave me alone..." She was huding her face between her knees.

"Then tell me what I don't know. It will be easier if you get all of that pain out." I sat down next to her.

"I can't." She sniffed. "It's been a seacret for years and years..."

"Okay... You don't have to tell me but you must know that I will always be here for you." I put my hand on her little head and started my way to the doors when she grabed me for the hand.

"Wait! I will tell you... "She was standing behind me, her long black hair shined in silver light because of the moonlight that was falling trought the window. "When I was little I had an accident and I fell of a tree. I hit my head and for three days I wasn't able to remember anything but when I remembered I felt sick..." I noticed that she was shaking while she talked. 

"My father was insane and he would make me dance for him... Naked... And when ever my mother saw if she would beat me and father up.... But after that accident all stoped and it was good for a while. The problem came when they noticed that I wasn't smiling so it was bad for family image. That's why I never left the castle and all those 'looking for people that would made me laugh' thing was a lie. He did call few people but they gave up soon and you are the only one who stayed this long..." She started crying again. I never saw her like this, she usually acted strong and cold but these are her true feelings. I don't know should I trust her or not but I will keep her safe!

"Don't worry...." I smiled warm and hugged her little skinny body tight. "I won't tell anyone and I will never leave your side..."

I could feel her hugging me back.

"Hat man..." She said quite. "Please don't leave... Please don't try to make me smile anymore..." Her voice was a bit broken.

"If you make me smile infront of my parents they will send you away! I don't want you to go!" I could feel she started crying again. "I don't want you and Soc to go..."

"Don't worry... We will stay." I kissed her soft forehead. After a while she finely calmed down and fell asleep on my chest. While I watched her I noticed a blue butterfly on the window, its deep blue wings shined on the moonlight and they remembered me of Ariana's eyes.
