thirty eight - light rain

Stormi's pov

I took a deep breath as Romeo pulls into the parking lot of Kadens house.

Well, our house.

A big 'Welcome Home' sign was near the door with balloons and flowers.

I couldn't hide my smile at Kadens effort of a welcome home party.

I squeeze his hand as he opens the door and helps me out.

I look at Romeo as he grabs our luggage out of the trunk.

He gives me a small smile before nodding his head.

"Welcome home storm. It's good to have you home."

I feel my cheeks getting hot as I smile.

Kaden stiffens before sliding his around around my shoulders and pulling me closer to him.

I let out a huge sigh while rolling my eyes.

I wrap my arms around his waist as we walk into the house.

My nostrils is filled with the hint of garlic.

I smiled at Kaden.

He smiled before kissing my forehead. "It wouldn't be a welcome home party if you didn't get your favorite food."

I could feel my stomach start to rumble as I get excited over spaghetti.

I wonder if its going to be good.

Kaden has gone through a few chefs since the last one quit so hopefully she follows the recipe to the T.

Kaden leads me into our bedroom and the smell of his mint body wash filled the room.

I could feel the shivers down my spine as familiar washed over me.

I missed this.

I missed home.

I missed our bed.

I missed actually cuddling with Kaden.

I missed the tub with the jet power massagers.

I let go of Kaden's hand and walked to the bathroom.

My heart started to race when I saw the bathroom was lit with candles and the bath was already filled with bubbles and rose petals.

Kaden wrapped his arms around my shoulders and rested his head on my shoulder.

"I knew you'd want a bath Princessa." He kisses my neck before letting go and grabbing the speaker.

I undress and get into the tub.

I lay against one of the jets and lay all the way underneath the water keeping my head above water feeling all the stress and exhaustion float away.

Kaden puts on one of my favorite singers - Rod Wave.

I smile as I close my eyes and relax my body.
