Note: Monday is going to be my regular post day but some might appear before that depending on how fast I'm writing and little I'm working. Enjoy!

Castiel's heart sunk, as if sinking to the depths of the oceans. A lump had formed in his throat and his face had become pale. He had just left his fathers compartments where he had been told he would be married before the week was out. To Dick Roman of all people. It was one of Castiel's and Chucks more hefty arguments. Castiel had even thrown things around the room much to Chucks dismay. He felt childish now, but still angry and upset at the fact that his future was no longer his. Castiel has left Chuck's now trashed office with his metaphorical tail between his legs when Chuck finally snapped and told him to stop being a child and that Castiel could have stopped this if he had made a choice from the alphas at court.

His father was right, of course he was which just made Castiel more angry. He hated when his father was right which made trashing the kings room was even more embarrassing at the fact that Chuck didn't actually deserve it. And now the staff would have to go in and clean it and then everyone would know that the young omega had thrown a hissy fit and been told of by his father.

He went to the only place he knew he could get away from it all, and that was inside the walls of the castle. Castiel didn't know how he had found the passageway leading into the hidden corridors and rooms of the castle, but he had never forgotten them. Slipping behind a tight corner of wall in the west wing of the castle was one of the very few entrances, but it was also the closest to his fathers rooms. He always checks and double checked that nobody was watching him as he entered and wandered around it aimlessly until his head was clearer.

This time however, it wasn't getting any clearer. He had four days. Four days of freedom left before he would be shipped off to Purgatory as a married omega to a King who was disrespectful and, for lack of a better word, outright evil. He now wished he had made a better impression on Azazel, the King of Hell. At least that king would be dead soon and only have used him for a few fucks before his heart gave out. Castiel frowned at the thought and a shiver ran through his spine. He hated the thought of being used like that, and didn't even want to think of how Dick Roman would use him.

He stopped in one of the long forgotten rooms and sat down on the floor, his back up against the stone cold wall there. He put his head in his hands, bringing his knees up to his chest and breathed deeply, his teeth chattering as he exhaled. It was cold between the walls, and he knew he should have brought a coat, he normally always does. But this time he didn't have the patience, he just had to pretend he was out of the castle and free in some forgotten, abandoned building where he was all alone.

Problem was, he didn't exactly want to be alone. He regretted never telling Gabriel where any of the hidden doorways to the secret passageways were, but he had always come up with the excuse in his mind that this was the one thing that belongs to him. That this was the only thing that allowed him to run away from everything and everyone. This was the only place that he could be alone.

His head is in his hands, thumbs rubbing his temples to try and get rid of the migraine that was producing there. He sighs, finally giving up and realising that it wasn't going to go away for the rest of his life now if he marries Dick Roman, and lay his head against the wall, staring into space and revaluating his life. How did it come to this? Why was he born a damn omega? They were always treated as if they needed protecting, as if they were lesser than an alpha or beta. Castiel didn't believe this to be true, he didn't feel any less than them. He didn't feel like he needed to do everything they told him to do just because society told everyone that omegas had to obey. Cas didn't believe that. He was never one to obey.

Castiel was there, thinking for hours on end. At one point he must have fallen to sleep because he woke with a jolt and felt a sudden pang of panic. Fuck, how long had he been there for? He quickly stood up and made his way back down the corridors, towards the hidden passageway and slipped out into a dark castle. It was night time, pitch black with no candles burning. The staff must have already turned in for the night. He started making his way back to his room but stopped dead in his tracks. He had four days. Only four days before he was married off to an evil villain, the King of Purgatory.
