dnf but in high school

"hey george, need a ride?" sapnap asked. he waited for outside of george's last class to take him home since dream didn't go to school today.
dream only skipped because he was preparing everything for george. and also because who wants to go to school anyway? his mom helped him put everything together and told sapnap to bring george to his house to surprise him.
"yes please, i didn't know dream was skipped today," george said, "do you know why?"
sapnap shrugged. "i dunno, but let's go, kay?"
george nodded and headed inside sapnap's car.
sapnap drove out of the school parking lot and look a left to dream's house.
george looked at him confused, "um sapnap? i think you took a wrong turn. my house is the other way."
"yeah i know, but i need to pick up something from dream's house. you don't mind stopping by real quick, do you?" he asked.
george shook his head no and went on his phone for the rest of the small ride.
they parked in dream's drive thru and got off the car.
"hey you go on ahead, i need to get something real quick." sapnap said.
george just shrugged and knocked on dream's door.
"come in!" he heard dream say.
he opened the door and stopped immediately in his tracks.
dream stood there with one hand holding a simple sign that said "will you go to prom with me?" and the other one holding a huge stuffed bear. on both sides of him were two big vases filled with gorgeous roses. ( i couldn't find a pic of dis but thot it was cute idea)
george looked around, seeing the roses and bear and then back to dream.
"prom?" dream asked, waiting for an answer.
george quickly ran to dream and wrapped his arms around his neck, jumping into his arms while wrapping his legs around him.
dream immediately dropped the bear and sign to catch george.
"of course, idiot." george said with his head resting the crook of dream's neck. (is that what it is? like the part between his shoulder and neck idk that's what i've heard ppl call it & i don't wanna sound dumb LMAO)
dream smiled and hugged george tighter.
sapnap stepped inside, recording the two as dream requested. "i'm guessing he said yes?"
dream laughed and nodded.
george got off dream, picked up the bear and hugged it. "you didn't have to do all this for me, you know. i would've been fine with a text message"
dream chuckled, "you deserve only the best, love"
he pulled george in for another hug.
"oh i also got you this. i couldn't decided which one i should give you, but i wanted this one as a back up plan in case you didn't like my crappy poster." dream said.
he got a box from the counter and opened it. inside were a couple of cupcakes that spelled out "prom?" and two little roses.
george gasped, "cupcakes!"
dream wheezed, "yeah i knew you'd like this."
dream put the box back on the counter and george took a quick picture of it to post later.
"thank you for all of this dream." he said blushing a bit.
"no problem, cutie," dream said, "and thank you sapnap for helping me out."
"no problem man" sapnap said, "can i have a cupcake though?"
george laughed and gave him one.
they all ended up staying at dream's to hang out for bit. quackity had texted sapnap to go over so sapnap left a little earlier than george. when it started to get late, dream drove george home and helped him but the two vases in his room, next to the window.
george walked dream to the door and gave him another big hug.
"goodnight dreamie." he said, yawning.
"goodnight bubs, i'll text you in the morning, kay?" dream said.
george only nodded and waved goodbye.
he went back into his room and posted the picture he took of dream's "back up proposal".
