"Uhm, sir? Please move the box to the other side."

Who knew she would accept the reuqest of being part of the Favonius, Biologist. Her role wasn't much but healing and working together with the Alchemists. When she first stepped into the HQ, she meant to reject and return to save her father's treasures, but soon as she entered her newly set up office一she had no heart to leave.

Y/n sat by the chair as she watched them worked for her, a taint of guilt but pride flowed in her chest. "Sucrose, you may put the books up on the shelf," she pointed the empty shelf across the office.

"Alright, so... what do you plan to do from here on now?" Albedo's voice rang in her ears, catching Y/n's attention slowly.

Her eyebrows lifted then furrowed, having her hand on her chin as she was lost in deep thoughts. "I originally planned to take care of my late father's belongings succeed his name. But..."

Soon, her faint smile so as an exhale painted her face, she took off the veil一finally showing herself to the world, no threats finally came. "I'll take one thing at a time. Thank you for helping me."

...

Y/n sat by the window whilst gazing to the world in front of her with coffee on hand一ready to be drunk. She blew the heat of the cup carefully, while enjoying the warm sensation that tingled on her palms. She bit the inner bottom of her lips whilst letting herself fall to reminsice of the incident when she met a certain odd and dangerous man for the first time.

Though, filled with hostility before, now now it all felt relieving一the longer she dazed, the more she knew of this new aesthete.

A small genuine smile spreaded across as her thoughts wondered around一one comment from her: 'Cheesy.'

Yet, someone who was still new to this managed to catch her feelings within a second. There once was a time when she'd stop thinking about that man, but he'd appear the next second. "I love you," she whispered, "Uhm... no一I like you...?"

"Ahem, Mister Albedo, I've fallen for you."

"I like you so much."

"I've loved you since our first meeting!"

Who was she talking to? To no one exactly. Just her, lost in her own attempt to confess her love. "I really really like you, Mister Albedo!" Of course, that didn't turn out as how she expected, her face blushed crimson red. "How unoriginal," she commented. "Uhm, I'm like an oil and you're a water and oil and water can mix when there's emulsifer." That sounded as if she was a science freak. Wasn't he also one? Or was it Sucrose?

She shook her head, cursing herself as her own face was blushed deep red. How did people confess their love, she didn't know. Afterall, she only lived her life in a house and absconded soon, still not being able to grasp the basics of life.

And so, with herself left alone and an empty scrap paper, her words and thoughts echoed alone in the room.

For the day that was supposed to be bright enough for her, there she was一laying on the bed in fit cough. Oh, how luck wasn't on her side. 'Why did I have to go out when it rained?' She cursed mentally to herself for her own stupidity which somehow affected her headache.

Before, as she was about to get groceries for her teacher, the rain came pouring down in the midst of walking back. Worried it might get worse, she had decided to go on further一only for her to lay sick on the bed the next day.

"Y/n, how are you feeling?"

A soft and gentle voice chirpped by the door. She didn't need to lift her head to know who nor did she have the strength to do so. Lisa was the person behind the door. Long story short, the h/c haired decided to return to her house after a long trial from the laws.
