Janus's POV:

I made dinner while Remus sat on the counter. We talked about the episode and what had happened. "I still can't believe Patton lost it and turned into a giant frog," Remus said. "Yeah. We actually had a good conversation after the episode but I could tell he was faking it," I said. "I'm gonna miss you when you gone," Remus said. I walked over to him. "I know Re, but I promise I'll visit everyday. Okay?" I told him. "Okay, Jan," Remus said. I smiled at him, and he got off the counter, giving me a hug. I hugged back, going back to finish dinner.

After we ate, we got changed and sat on the couch. I grabbed the remote to the TV and turned on the TV. "What do you want to watch?" I asked. "You can pick, it is your last night hear anyways," Remus said. I turned to me and Remus favorite movie to watch together, Aladdin, and summoned some popcorn for the both of us.

A little into the movie, I looked over to Remus. Yeah, on camera Remus can seem like someone who might be found in a mental hospital, but off camera was a totally different story. Off camera, he's caring and actually sometimes really fun to talk to. Ever since Patton dropped Remus off here after the split of King Romulus, he's been basically the only friend I had aside from my little brother, Virgil. When me and Virgil's brotherly relationship fell through, he was the only one who would have my back. I'm grateful to have him by my side, and so happy he's pulling though all his childhood trauma, depression, and intrusive thoughts for me.

After the movie, Remus had fallen asleep, laying his head on my shoulder. I smiled at him. Picking him up bridal-style, I carried him to his room. I carefully opened the door, placing him on his bed and sinking out to my room. I grabbed a few boxes, placing a few picture frames in the box. I was packing up the next box with some of my books when Remus entered the room. "I thought you were asleep?" I asked. "I was. I needed to use the bathroom, bit then I saw you were packing up so I thought I would help," Remus explained. I smiled. "Thanks, you can help by starting on the closet," I said, handing him a box. Remus started filling the box while I went back to packing my books. "Can I keep this?" Remus asked. I turned around from my box to see Remus holding one of my yellow and black hoodies.

"Sure, I never really wear it anyways," I said

"Sure, I never really wear it anyways," I said. Remus smiled, slipping on the hoodie and going back to packing up the box. I smiled. Gosh, he was so cute.

We finished packing up my stuff, moving the furniture to the corner of the room. We guessed the room would be furnished before hand. We brought the boxes to the door, grabbing the other things in the house that belonged to me and packing them up in boxes also. After we packed up, I went over to the couch. "Hey, Jan. I'm pretty sure I have a sleeping bag in my closet if you want to sleep in my room," Remus said. I smiled at him. "Thanks, Rem," I said.

Once in Remus's room, I grabbed out the sleeping bag from Remus's closet and laid it on the floor. "I got a pillow for you, J!" Remus said. "Are you doing this just so I will stay in your room for the night?" I asked. "Yup!" Remus replied, handing me the pillow. "Thanks, Re," I said. Remus hugged me, I smiled at him, hugging him back. Remus hopped on his bed, curling up under the covers. "Night, J!" Remus said. "Night, Remus," I responded, laying down and falling asleep.

🏳️‍🌈In the middle of the night🏳️‍🌈

Remus's POV:

I couldn't sleep. The voices got too loud, and flashing images raced through my mind. Images I didn't want to see, voices I didn't want to hear. This was kinda normal for me. I got out of bed, going to the kitchen and grabbing a glass of water. After I finished, I went back to my room, laying down next to Janus. He always made me feel safe during these times. "Remus?" I heard from beside me.

Janus's POV:

I could tell something was wrong. I woke up in the middle of the night with Remus curled up by me. "Remus?" I said. Remus looked at me. "Voices again?" I asked. He nodded. I hugged him, letting him rest. "I'm here, Remus. They can't hurt you," I said. I held him close to me. He seemed to calm down a little. "Better?" I asked. He nodded, wrapping his arms around me and falling asleep. I blushed. I decided to let him stay with me. After all, he's probably really anxious about this new change since I'm almost always near him. He was really nervous when I revealed myself, and even more nervous when it was his turn to. "Don't worry, Remus. I promised you wouldn't be alone and I intend to keep that promise," I whispered to him. I fell asleep again, Remus still in my arms.
