Just like Parents (Part 1)

*Rantaro's POV*

I turn to my side and look at my alarm clock. 6:00 AM. The Monokuma morning announcement has not yet played. I don't like to wake up with his stupid announcement anyways. Plus, it's not even Monokuma doing these. The monokubs, even more annoying, started doing these announcements ever since we got trapped in here.

I got up and started to make my bed. Even though Kirumi fixes everyones bed, I don't want to give her extra work. She's already doing so much for us and handling the stress of being in a killing game at the same time. She must be exhausted, but again, she is the Ultimate Maid. It amazes me how her talent helps everyone here. If only I could remember mine. Maybe people would trust me more. 

After I finished, I took a shower and got myself ready for the day. While putting on my shoes, I heard something.

*Ding Dong*........*DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG*

"Comiiiing!" I said. Who the heck would would be ringing my doorbell at this time? I quickly put on my shoes and opened the door. I looked down and I saw Kokichi jumping up and down quickly. Without saying a word he rushed into my room and went under my bed sheets. Great. Now I need to make my bed again.

"QUICK LOCK THE DOOR! C-MON JUST LOCK IT!!!" Kokichi started to yell at me more. 

"Why should I? What the heck is going on Kokichi?!" I don't understand a thing about what is happening. Kokichi just came into my room, went under my bed sheets, and told me to lock the door. I should stop making conclusions...

I locked the door just like Kokichi told me to do. Before I could ask him anything I heard a light knock on the door.

"Don't answer just....pretend your sleeping or something!" Kokichi whispered to me. 

"Kokichi, are you in there?! You better not be disturbing Rantaro while he's sleeping!" I could hear someones voice behind the door. They kept knocking softly.

I decided to open the door to see what this madness was about. When I opened it, I saw Kirumi, who looked out of breath.

"Oh...I...uh..um...good morning Rantaro!" She quickly fixed her posture and swiped her hands over her dress. "Sorry to bother you at this time but have you seen Kokichi?"

I knew that Kokichi probably did something wrong, so i decided to tell her the truth. 

"Oh, Kokichi?! He's right here." I opened the door more, letting Kirumi in. I walked over to my bed and lifted up the blankets, revealing Kokichi's hiding spot. 

"There you are! Now come here, you need to learn some manners young man." Kirumi grabbed Kokichi's arm and pulled him up.

"Hey, um I was just wondering... what is going on?" I'm still very confused about this situation. 

"Sure, I'll tell you all about Kokichi's disrespectful manners. But first, may you close the door for me?" Kirumi asked. I walked over to the door and closed it. 

"Nooooo c-mon Rantaro you were on my side!" Kokichi said with a disappointed face. 

"I never said I was going to help you. Plus, you didn't even tell me what was going on." Kokichi then frowned at me from across my room.

Kirumi started to explain the situation. 

"Well, I was doing some morning chores around the kitchen when I suddenly heard shouting. I decided to investigate and found out that Kokichi was trying to wake Miu up very early in the morning. Miu is very tired from working on her inventions last night, therefore she needs a good night's sleep. I tried to catch Kokichi before he woke Miu up but unfortunately, He ran away. And thats how we ended up here." 

"Kokichi, you shouldn't be waking Miu up that early. She's tired and doesn't want to deal with you. Especially in the morning. And as for Kirumi, you shouldn't be making her do more work than she already is doing. Just go to your room and find something else to do. It's too early in the day for this kind of behavior." I told him. I noticed Kirumi's face starting to get a little red. 

"Awwww you guys are like my parents! Lecturing me on whats the right thing to do! I guess I have to listen to my parents now so I'm going back to my room. See ya later~" With that Kokichi left my room and went back to his.

Me and Kirumi stood there watching him enter his room from the doorway.

Kirumi grabbed my hand and looked at me in the eyes. Her eyes where a pretty shade of green and her face... so perfect, almost like a doll. 

"Thank you so much for helping with Kokichi. He can be quite a handle sometimes." She looked at my bed with surprise. She let go of my hand and started to organize it.

"Hey, i'll fix that later! You can go rest for now." I told her.

"Are you sure? Well thank you Rantaro that's very thoughtful of you."

"Yeah no problem! If you need anything else just let me know. Ok?" 

"Yes thank you very much Rantaro" And with that, plus a smile, she left my room.

I guess we really are like parents huh.
