*Rantaro's POV*

I really wanted to spend more time with Kirumi. She's very kind and every time I'm with her, I feel a certain way that I could not describe. I wish I could be by her side all day. Unfortunately, I couldn't think of anything else we could do together. Before I said goodbye, Kirumi spoke up.

"Um, Rantaro. Would you like to go to the library with me? I was thinking we could get a few books and read them on the tables outside."

"Oh, sure! I would love to Kirumi!" I felt relived. Maybe this meant that she also wanted to spend more time with me. Well, at least I hope that's what it meant.

"Alright! Lets go." Kirumi started walking towards the library. I followed right next to her.

"So what kind of books do you like to read?" I asked, trying to break the silence.

"Well personally it depends but I mostly read roma- oww!" Kirumi suddenly stopped and crouched down, holding her ankle with her hands.

"Oh my gosh Kirumi are you ok?!" I asked with a worried tone in my voice.

"That's what running in heels gets you aha. And yes I am fine I just, need to rest for a while and I'll be fine." She seemed alright so i'm assuming it's nothing to worry about.

I decided to do something instead. I crouched down and grabbed Kirumi. I then lifted her up, holding her from behind her torso and under her thighs. She was pretty light and delicate. I could tell that she was very surprised. Her face grew red as she put her hands near her face.

"Oh, Rantaro... you don't need to carry me, I can just...uh..." Kirumi said with a flustered face.

"Well theres no way I could just leave you here. C-mon lets go!" I started to walk towards the library while carrying Kirumi in my arms. Eventually, she wrapped her arms around my neck to avoid falling. Her beautiful face was right next to mine. She was still really flustered, but every time she turned her head away from me, I caught her smiling. We finally made it to the library.

"Well we're here. Should I put you down?" I asked Kirumi.

"Ah, um yes I'm fine now thank you." I put her down as she stood up by herself. She seemed alright now.

"Well lets look for some books first, and then we'll go outside. Sound fair?" Kirumi said.

"Yep sounds good." I replied. I looked for some books around the library. There was plenty to choose from. They all varied from dark and scary stories to Manga and comic books. I pulled one out with an, interesting cover. I quickly put it back before anyone saw me with it. I choose a couple of books and stacked them up. Kirumi was standing by the door, waiting for me.

"Does my princess need to be carried outside as well?" I said,  joking around.

"Haha well this princess has now learned how to walk properly in heels." Kirumi said with a smile on her face. Seems like she didn't mind calling her that.

"Alright, lets get going then!"

We walked along the hallways, passing the interesting rooms that were in this school.

"What do you think these rooms are for Kirumi?"

"Well I'm not exactly sure. Some seem pretty specific like the one with paino keys painted on the door. It's almost like this school was specifically made for us.

"Yeah, seems so." I said, trying not to sound suspicious.

"And by the way Rantaro, have you found any clues to what your talent is? If this school was made for specifically us, then maybe there would be clues to what you talent is?!." Kirumi told me.

"Well yeah, that seems reasonable, but so far I haven't found anything." I said. I really wish I did know my talent. It would make me seem like a more interesting person, for sure.

We finally reached the patio outside. But when we got there, we saw an interesting scene happening. Kaede was slapping the tables and chairs while Shuichi stood on the other side, watching. Kaede kept slapping the tables.

"See Shuichi?! This is how you earn mono coins!" Kaede said as Shuichi watched.

"I don't think we should interrupt them..."

"Yes, we'll just take the other way and sit in the field." Kirumi said as she started walking the other way.

We made it to the field which was surrounded with plants of all sorts. We found the perfect spot and sat down next to each other. We started to read quietly, with the sound of whatever Miu was doing in the background. Suddenly, Kirumi laid her head on my shoulder as she continued to read. I put my arm around her shoulder as I read my book and played with her hair for a while. With her I felt safe and...loved.

All of the sudden, Kirumi moved her head closer to my shoulder. She then whispered, "I love you, Rantaro."

I stopped playing with her hair for a second and thought of what she just said. I smiled and replied, "I love you too, Kirumi."

"Wait, did I say that out loud??" Kirumi said in a quiet voice. Her face got red and so did mine.

"Well, yeah you kinda did aha..."

"Oh...I...um well, I mean it Rantaro. You really do care about me and you've showed it. You have made me feel loved and I think that I really needed that, especially during these times. I just hope that, you feel the same way too." She confessed.

All I could do at that time was give her a hug. I held her in my arms as she hugged me back. I never wanted to let go of her. I wanted to be there for her all the time and now I knew, that so did she.

"I love you Kirumi, and you know that I will always love you no matter what, Ok?"

Kirumi lifted her face up and looked at me with her sparkling eyes.

"Yes, I understand Rantaro" She continued to hug me as I continued to hug her.

And now I know, thats what love felt like.
