Dinner (Part 7)

*Rantaro's POV*

I cleaned up the kitchen and set everything up. I wanted to make sure everything was ready before Kaede and Kirumi came back. I sat down on one of the chairs while waiting. Then, I saw Kaede come in, covering Kirumi's eyes with her hands. 

I stood up and stood next to Kirumi while I put my hand on her shoulder.

"Hey there!"

"Oh hello Rantaro!" She still knew who I was without looking at me. 

"Y-know...it's kinda hard covering your eyes when your taller than me-" Kaede said as she tried covering Kirumi's eyes.  

"I told you eairler that I can close my eyes by myself but this is fine is suppose." 

"Ok. 3. 2. 1..." Kaede moved her hands and let Kirumi see. 

"Oh wow this is beutiful!" She turned to look at the cake we made. It had 2 layers which were both white with stawberries around it. 

"We made it for you! Well, we are gonna share it with everyone else after dinner of course. Oh! And just saying Rantaro's really good a decorating!" 

"Hey i'm not 'that good' it's just, a small talent of mine y-know?" Kirumi then looked at me.

"Well I think you both did an amazing job!" She then hugged us both.  "Well we are going to eat dinner soon so I guess I should," 

"We should..." Kaede added. 

"Well, we should start making dinner then. We can share the cake after everyone is finished!" 

"Alright then!" Me and Kaede brought the cake over to the table. After that, we went back into the kitchen and started to look through the recipe book that monokuma had placed in the kitchen. Kirumi wasn't using it, since she most likely has these memorised. We each chose a recipe and got to work. Suddenly, Shuichi came into the kitchen. 

"H-hey guys. I'd figure you all would be here" He then came closer into the kitchen. 

"Oh hey Shuichi! What's up?" Of course Kaede was the first to respond.

"So the rest of us were thinking about having a movie night in the AV room near the library after dinner. Would you guys like to come?"

"Sure Shuichi that sounds nice" I added. Both Kaede and Kirumi nooded. 

"Well alright see you later!" With that he left and closed the door. 

"Yay a movie night sounds fun!" Kaede was always so positive about everything. 

"Yes it does sound fun!" Kirumi also sounded excited. We continued to cook in the kitchen. Once we finished, we placed the food on the table. We finished much quicker since Kaede was here to help now. Since we had extra time, we cleaned up the kitchen and washed the dishes. Kaede left the kitchen, leaving only me and Kirumi. 

"Well looks like we're done here!" I went behind Kirumi and put my arms around her shoulders as she grabbed my hands and played with my rings.

"Yeah I guess so." She then turned around and kissed me all of the sudden. 

"Hey where did that come from aha?" She put her hands behind my neck.

"Well, I don't know. I just felt like I havn't kissed you in a while." Her warm smile filled my heart up with joy. I gave her a kiss on the forehead and then held her hand. 

"Well they must be waiting for us there!" 

"Yes I suppose. Now lets go!" We both left the kitchen and went to the cafeteria. Everyone was already there and eating. The cake that we made was still on the table. We took our usual seats and started to eat dinner. Everyone was talking about their day today. I looked over at Kirumi as she talked with Kaede and Shuichi. They were great friends and i'm glad they all are trusting of eachother. I feel very different around everyone else. They all know their talents and what makes them so special. Me on the other hand...well I can't say the same thing for me. But I know that I have Kirumi by my side, and that just makes me feel safe, and loved. Without relizing it I was staring at Kirumi. She was looking directly at me.

"Hello?" She asked while waving her hand. 

"Oh! uh hey!" I shook my head a little. "Sorry I just... dozed off a bit there ha" Kirumi gave me a smile again. 

"Yeah we could tell Rantaro!" Both Kaede and Shuichi were chuckling a bit. "You almost fell off the the chair!" My face got a little red. 

"Well yeah aha... sorry about that Kirumi! It's just that..." 

"Oh it's alright Rantaro!" She also started to laugh a bit. It's jut that she's so perfect. Not just her looks, but her personality. She's so much of a lovable person it's impossible not to love her. 

"Well I think that everyone is done eating, so we should start cleaning up." Kirumi said as she stood up and picked up her plate. 

"Yeah and we can start getting ready for the movie night!" Kaede also stood up and picked up her plate too. 

"Well alright then!" We all started to pick up our plates and bring them to the sink. I washed the dishes while Kirumi put them away. Kaede cleaned up the table along with Shuichi. Shuichi then came into the kitchen. 

"Hey um can you guys bring the blankets? They're in the warehouse somewhere."  

"Sure thing!" Kirumi said as she put away some of the plates. We finished up and headed to the warehouse to get some blankets. The warehouse was full of all sorts of items. It would be hard to find some blankets here.

"Since it would take forever to look for them, why don't we ask Monokuma?"

"Yeah that would be a good idea." Right that second, Monokuma showed up out of thin air. 

"Hey ya called?" We looked down at him. He was so small yet so powerfull. 

"Well yes, we were wondering where the blankets were in here." Monokuma looked over at Kirumi while she spoke. 

"Hmmmm sure thing I guess. C-mon" Monokuma started to walk and we followed. He was a pretty slow walker so it was kind of akward to walk behind him. We eventually came across a shelf full of blankets. 

"Well thanks Monokuma I guess." I turned around and he was already gone. I found a basket where we could put all of the blankets and even some pillows. With that we started to choose the right ones to bring to the AV room.
