Y/N had been on her way to Shouta's apartment when it happened. She had almost believed that he'd leave her alone, but apparently not. She should have known he wouldn't leave it at that message. She should have known that he probably already knew where she was and that he was after her and that he knew exactly who she was meeting. It had been a year since everything happened, but...
Somehow he just couldn't leave her alone. Y/N hated it. She hated it so much. She would have thought after everything... after everything he wouldn't want to see her anymore or have no connection to her whatsoever. But apparently he still got some sort of kick out of scaring the living daylights out of her. She didn't understand why he did any of the things he was doing, but that wasn't the point. The point was that he had found her and that it was all her fault.
She should have taken a taxi to Shouta's place. She really should have. He had even given her the money for a taxi. She even wanted to take one in the first place, but it was such a beautiful day outside, it would have been a shame to spend it inside some car. So she took the train for half the way to Shouta's apartment and walked the rest of the way. And that was her mistake.
If she had just taken the taxi, she wouldn't have passed that alleyway. He wouldn't have seen her, he wouldn't have been able to follow her - or if he was following her, she would have been right in front of Shouta's door and he wouldn't have had a chance to corner her. But the way things went... it really was her fault that he got to her again this time. There was no denying it.
She had noticed that someone was following her. At first she had just felt strangely watched, but she didn't want to act all paranoid. She glanced around carefully at first, before turning around. He probably had enough time to hide somewhere out of sight when he noticed her getting suspicious. So when Y/N looked back nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Nothing at all.
So she kept going, thinking that she was probably just imagining things. Maybe she just had gotten way too vigilant again after that message. And honestly, she didn't even know whether that message was from him. It could have been anyone posing as him. It had happened when the whole thing was still fresh - some hardcore fanboys and/or fangirls had gotten onto her.
Maybe someone had been crazy enough to dig out all these old things from some old papers or whatever and had decided to play a trick on her. People were strange like that. This was probably nothing to worry about. Not him. It wouldn't be him, right? He was as popular as always, he wouldn't even have the time for anything like this. Right? Y/N really wanted to believe that.
But the weird feeling didn't leave her and the next time she turned around to check she saw him. He was directly behind her. And he saw her, too, and he was grinning at her. He had planned this. Y/N was terrified then and she had started walking faster and something told her to go a different route to Shouta's apartment, because maybe she would be able to lose him.
