Chapter 1

Eve's POV

'Knock knock'

Ughh who's at the door. We just moved to the damn house. I roll off the couch and make my way to the door.

It creaks as I open it. Standing out front of my house is a guy. A very attractive guy and polite looking guy.
"Hi," I have the gut to say.
"Hi. I live across the street and my mom wanted to give you this welcoming cake." He gives it to me and walks away.

"Who was that?" My dad, Jordan asks while I shut the door.

"Some dude that lives across the street......... Here, his mom baked us a cake for a welcoming gift." I reply.

"Oh that's nice of them," he says.

"Ya I guess... well I'm gonna go to bed cause tomorrow's my first day of school!" I walk over and kiss him on the cheek.

I walk into my room and change into a oversized shirt and some shorts. I hear a knock on my door.
"Who is it?"
"Just open up, its Jay," my idiotic brother calls from the other side.

"No thank you!" I yell.

"Please I have something really to talk to you about. It's life threatening. "

I open the door and he comes charging in.
"What is so important," I ask.

"Ya see, my phone died and I need your charger cause I can't find mine," he says with a smirk.

"How the hell is that life threatening!!??"

"I can't text my friends. And I have to go to sleep soon and by the time I wake up, they will be asleep."

"It's over by my nightstand."

He grabs it, hugs me and runs out. Idiot.

I closed my door and climbed into bed. I left my music on till I drifted off to sleep.
