Chapter 6

I walked to my locker and saw Lauren leaning against hers. I walked up to my locker and she still didn't notice, and I was about 5 feet away from her. I put my books in and slammed the locker shut to get her attention. It worked. "Oh hey Eve" she said, there's definitely something that she is hiding from me. "hey, what's going on... you seem nervous" I said she opened her mouth and shut it again and opened it "well there's something I've been hiding from you" she said "okayy..and what might that be?" I replied "well it's sort of...about...a crush.. well a LONGTIME crush" she didn't give me time to ask who it was she just said "I'm sorry I only hid it from you because I once told a girl who I thought was my 'best friend' " she says adding air quotes around "best friend" " my crush and let's just say some shit happened and it was badddd!!!" OMG I never knew this "aww it okay Lauren...just know that I would never do something like that and that I'm always here for you" I tried to soothe her adding an other "always"

Anyway let's forget about that and let me tell you about what happened today" she says excitedly "so you know that boy Zayn Malik?" "Yea" I quickly added "well I had a crush on him for about 2 years and I finally decided to talk to him and we were actually laughing... Like genuinely laughing...omfg" omg I'm so happy for her she is going to be even
happier when I tell her what harry told me. "OMG that's great Lauren, but I have a way for you to be even closer with him" her face was priceless "HOW!!?!" She screamed "well Harry really wanted us to sit with him at lunch and as you know Zayn and Harry sit together" "OMG did u tell him that we would?" She asked "well not yet..i wanted to ask you first" she nodded and said "well I'm totally fine with it" with that we said our goodbyes and left to our classes

The two classes before lunch went fast and after me and Lauren walked to lunch. As soon as we entered my eyes locked with a pair of green orbs. A light smirk also playing on his lips. Lauren and I made our away over to his table. Our eyes never unlocking. I was so thankful when Lauren took the seat between Harry and Zayn. I was left to take the seat between Louis and Liam. "Hey love" louis greeted me "we heard that you and your friend Lauren was gonna sit with us from styles over there" he added "oh..yea" was all I could say "so why don't you tell us all about yourself" Niall said with his Irish accent thick (a/n she does know all their names because Lauren always talks about them) " well I moved here from New York because my dad got a job transfer. I have a brother named jay and my name is Eve Hunter" I said "that's cool..well I'm Liam and that's Niall, Louis, Zayn, and that's Harry as you know" he said pointing to each of the boys "ok well nice to meet you guys" after a few mins we all got a little more comfortable.. louis put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me towards him "I like you Eve" he said "you are really funny and... I like you too" I complimented him.. In the corner of my eyes I saw Harry glaring at Louis like he was ready to kill.. The lunch period want on and it was filled with laughter. At the end Liam and I gave each other a quick kiss in the cheek and I hugged louis and he kissed my fore head and I rushed over to Lauren and we made our way over to our class only to be pulled back by someone grabbing my wrist. As soon as I turned around my eyes locked with those green ones... "We'll see you in class" Lauren quickly said and rushed to class before I could protest.

"So I was thinking that maybe we could go grab some coffee and just walk around after school?" I didn't know what to say.. I knew that I liked him but I don't know if it would ever work. What am I even thinking?!!? He is no asking me to date him or anything. "Uhm... sure" his eyes sparkled as if he was not expecting that "great we will go home first and I'll pick you up around 3:30 so that we can freshen up" he saiid "ok cause we live right across form each other" I said "ok see you then love" he said as he picked up my hand and planted a kiss on the back of it and winked as he turned on his heel and walked away
