it was a normal day for sonic and tails. they were fighting eggman and his new mechs.
"tails on your left!" sonic yelled. tails hit the robot and dodged a second. "thanks sonic!" tails yelled.
tails continued to destroy sme robots until he felt something warm in his stomach. when he looked down he saw blood and a blade. "s-sonic?" he said as a stream of blood ran down the side of his mouth. soniic ran over to tails and tried to stop the bleeding. "come on tails, stay with me!" he yelled.
tails watched as he slowly lost concusness and everything went black.
the last words he heartd was sonic shouting his name "TAILS!"
