tails slowly opened his eyes to find himself in a hospital bed "what?" he looked next to him and saw sonic sleeping in a chair. at first tails was going to wake him up but he felt a sudden urge. he reached behind sonic and picked up a knife. he held it above sonics head and was ready to bring it down until...
"tails?". Tails turned around to see cream except she looked older."cream?" he asked he noticed his voice was deeper and that his hair was much longer. "TAILS!" cream yelled as she tackled him into a hug. he felt a surge of pain "cream...ow...".
the sound was loud enough to wake up sonic whoo looked at tails "l...little bro?" he asked at he reached forward to touch his face "you look horrible" tails replied with a smirk "my best friend was in a coma for six years, can you blame me?" sonic asked with a smile.

Sonic left to go get some food and cream walked up to tails. "What was that all about?" She asked. Tails raised an eyebrow "what do you mean?" Cream looked at him before pointing to the knife. "Cream, I don't know" tails said truthfully "I just felt s sudden urge to kill him ".

Cream ran up to tails and hugged him "you didn't mean to"
