Coming Out Of the Closet

PRELUDE TO HELL

You ever get the feeling there's a monster hidding in your closet, just waiting for you to leave your door ajar just so it can slip out and get you.Well I have felt that way all my life. So yes even at the present age of 18 I am still scared of the closet boggie man. I sleep with my bed room door locked and my walk in closet door securely shut. No big bad buggie gona snatch me out of my beauty sleep.

That is what i used to think. Now a day i'm stuck between my hormonal girl thought of" hot dame I should have gone looking for what ever was going bump in the night sooner." and my sensible innocent girl thoughts of" Damn me and my bravery. " But i'm getting ahead of my self. Lets go back about a week so you can see just were my life went to hell, literally

LAST MONDAY

It was a normal Monday and thanks to spring break I was sleeping in. It was sunset by the time I opened my eyes . I listened for my family to see if any of them were up already. From the noise coming from down stairs they were. I didn't get up and switch my light on I preferred the darkness it's was just easyer on the eyes. As I sat up I heard a sound like someone tapping come from my closet. Instead of going to see what it was I stretched and put on my over sized t- shirt pj bottoms and house shoes and opened my room door . I walked down the long hallway that led me past my younger sister Dree's room. I didn't stop till I was down stairs standing in the door way of our massive living room. My mom was on the couch with Dree flipping through the song list for JustDance 4. Neither of them noticed my presence as per usually. Perfect, with the light footed steps of a cat I snuck up behind the couch they were sitting on, and waited until they found a song. Just be for they got up I stude up and yelled ,

"Give me the money!"

They both jumped about a foot off the couch. Dree actually fell and went spralling on the floor. I fell to the floor too laughing so hard tears were coming out of my eyes. I was still laughing when my mom and sister regained their wits and looked over the couch at my doubled over form. I was laughing so hard no sound was coming out, every time I tried to stop I would look up at them to say something and just end up laughing all the more. After about the third time they turned back to the TV, which was good because my sides were killing me. When I finally calmed down enough I walked around the couch and fell back into the single arm chair. I waited till they were done with Pink- So What before I started ragging on them.

"Got damn I don't think I have ever seen two people jump so high. I swear mom was about to leave you Dree." I laughed

"Shit I was about to leave myself what you talken about." Dree laughed

Mom and I burst into laughter at her words.

"So what time did yall get up?" I asked as our laughter died down.

"We just got up not to long ago." mom said as she took a long drink from her ice water.

"Did dad already leave." I asked mom.

"Ya he left for work earlyer today." She said

I spent most of the night kicking butt on Just Dance. When I was finally tired I went back up stairs to my room. I locked my room door and scooped my beautiful Persian kitten Luna up off my pillow and sat her to the side of me, and lied down got my pad and started strolling through my apps. As I lay there I started to hear the tapping sound from earlyer. thinking nothing of it I tapped on my music app and strolled through my long list of song.

'tap,tap,tap'

No I don't feel like hearing that right know.
