Oh my gods. I'm so nervous. I pace around the room while the rest of the girls finish their makeup. Hazel walked up to me and hand me my bouquet.
"Don't be nervous you'll be fine."
"I've never been a bridesmaid before. What if I trip or break a heel or-"
Then Annabeth walked into the room followed by her made of honor, Piper. She looked absolutely beautiful in her gown. In her hair was an owl pin with blue gems for the eyes. Leo made that for her.
"Oh Annabeth you look beautiful!" Natasha said putting on her blue heels that matched out strapless blue dresses.
"But forget your veil." Mercedes placed on her. "Percy certainly is going to be a lucky man."
Annabeth just started crying. We all looked at Mercedes.
"Was it something I said?" She asked with a shrug.
"No I just..." Annabeth pulled us all into a group hug.
"Thank you guys. I love you. I couldn't have better friends then all of you."
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Leo poked his head into the room, while covering his eyes.
"Are you all decent?"
"Yes Leo come in." Annabeth said wiping her tears. He walked in but stayed against the door.
"We just wanted to know if you guys were ready."
"Yes. Let's start this wedding!"
We all walked out and went with our partners. I got to meet Hazel's boyfriend Frank a few days ago. Turns out he can shape shift into all different kinds of animals. That's not weird.
I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.
"You look beautiful." He whispered into my ear.
I turned and saw Nico. He was wearing a black suit with a blue tie like all the other guys but, to me he looked the best. His usually messy hair was combed and his brown eyes shimmered in the light.
"Wow you look awesome."
"Hey lovebirds we're about to start!" Jason called to us.
I offered him my hand and we interlocked our fingers.
The ceremony was beautiful. All gods, both major and minor came to this wedding of the century. There were blue and gray flowers everywhere. Demeter even made it rain blue flower petals in the aisle.
However I almost died of laughter at one part. When Chiron was saying-
"If their are any objections to why these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace."
Everyone, and I mean every single person in that room looked at Posedion and Athena to see if they had something to say. Athena looked like she was trying to raise her hand but Poseidon was keeping her hands down and Aphrodite was covering Athena's mouth.
"No objections Chiron, please do continue." Poseidon declared.
The rest of the ceremony went by fast. At the after party we danced and drank wine. We also had to chase a drunken Leo around the building. After that, we said goodbye to the newly weds as they rode on Blackjack, (Percy's pegasus), to their honeymoon.
As the lifted off, Annabeth threw her bouquet behind her. All the girls were anxious to catch. It fell slowly and was coming straight to me. I would have caught it if Leo didn't run in front of me and snatched it out of the air.
"You're welcome ladies!"
"How are you in love with that guy?" I nudged Natasha. She simply looked at me and just shrugged.
After everyone left, Nico and I walked into the woods, hand in hand, to this beautiful meadow where we like to make out in.
I had my heels in my hand and let my feet feel the life in the dirt. The breeze in my hair. The goosebumps I got from the cold fog.
We laid down on the grass and I curled up next to him. We didn't say anything, we just laid there silent and stared at the full moon in the shadows of the night.
Suddenly there was a blast of light so bright I just had to look away.
When I turned back there in front of us were the 12 Olympians, including my mother. Zeus walked up to me and I stood and bowed.
"Hello my lord." I said respectfully.
"Ava Sanchez."
I looked up to him.
"I am giving you a choice that I have given to very few demigods, Percy Jackson included."
I am so nervous I can feel my knees shake.
"First I want to give you a blessing."
He laid one finger on my forehead and I felt a surge of energy run through me. I looked at my hands and they seemed to glow. I raised my hands and I felt the power of the winds at my command.
"Now that you are blessed by all 12 Olympians, I am going to give you a proposal: I am giving you the chance to become a godess. You will join your mother and all of us in Olympus and be worshipped."
At first I really wanted to go. Like, who would give up the chance of becoming a god?! But I looked at Nico.
He seemed to be frozen in time. His dark eyes looked sad, as if he knew that I was going to leave him.
I looked back at Zeus and shook my head.
"I'm sorry lord Zeus but," I walked to Nico's side and interlocked my fingers with his.
"I belong here at the camp."
Mother looked a bit disappointed but smiled at me. Zeus looked calm and nodded sadly.
"I'm sorry to hear that, but I respect your choice. Until we meet again, granddaughter."
The gods busted into light again and vanished. Nico turned to me with a shocked look.
"You just had the offer of a lifetime! You've just been offered to be a god, Ava, a fucking god! Why did you turn it down?"
I smiled at him and kissed him. I pulled away and looked deeply into his eyes.
"Because I don't want to leave the people I love."
We kissed again and he pulled me closer to him.
"Well I'm happy about that."
We kissed some more and continued to look at the moon until we fell asleep. Camp Half Blood will always be my home and the campers here are my family.
Until next time my friends.
