I coughed as I choked on the water I was drinking. Ava had her jaw all the way to the floor.

"What?" She asked.

Piper smiled. "You heard what I said. You and Nico. Seven minutes. In that closet." She said pointing at Jason's storage closet.

It grew silent again. I held my breath for what seemed like hours.

"No." Ava finally said.

I let my breath out, but I felt pain in my chest. She just said no to kissing me. I tried my best to not let my pain show through my eyes.

"I'm sorry what was that?" Piper asked cupping her hand on her ear.

"I said no!" Ava screamed, still looking down.

"Then you know what that means, Ava."

She nodded slowly. I noticed that she was only wearing a thin tank top. I was not gonna let her strip in front of the other guys. As she started to raise her shirt I grabbed her wrist and pulled her to her feet.

"Nico what are you doing?"

I turned her so she was facing me.

"I'm not gonna let you get naked in front of the guys. Just come on."

Leo opened the closet door and smirked at us.

"Remember, it's only seven minutes, so don't try to go to far okay?"

I growled at him and walked into the dark closet. Ava stayed frozen at the door. Leo pushed her in and she bumped into me, her arms on my chest.

Ava Sanchez
They closed the door and it became so dark I had to really focus to see Nico's face. My forehead was rested on his chest. We stayed silent for what seemed like forever.

"Well um, this is awkward." I said, clearing my throat. He chuckled, which made my body shake, since it was touching his. Someone pounded on the door.

"Six minutes left! I don't hear kissing!"

"Natasha control your man!" I screamed, feeling very annoyed.

"It's like controlling a hyperactive squirrel!" Her yells were muffled by the door.

I turned to face Nico again and found him staring down at me. His dark eyes looked as black as a Raven. Thank gods that it was too dark, or else he would've seen me blush. Then he did something unexpected.

He leaned down and kissed me.

He cupped my face with his hands and continued to kiss me, softly and sweet. If he wasn't, my jaw probably would've dropped all the way to the underworld. I hesitated before kissing him back. I closed my eyes and allowed myself to feel this.

His lips were so soft! My arms wrapped around his neck. His placed his hands on my hips and my skin tingled where he touched.

I backed up to the wall. He licked my bottom lip, as if asking for permission. I almost laughed, but opened my mouth wider, letting his tongue in. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist.

Our lips only separated when he started kissing my jaw. I gripped handfuls of his shirt in my fists. I pulled away, out of breath. We were both breathing heavily.

"Nico," I was interrupted by the door swinging open.

"Time's u- wow, ok."

Then it hit me: this was a dare. Just a dare. The thought made my heart crash. How can I be so stupid?! Aphrodite even said that he's in love with someone else. I pulled Nico's hands off of me and ran out of the cabin.

I ran all the way to my cabin and locked the door behind me. I didn't even bother to change my clothes. I jumped in bed and burst into tears.

Why do I have to feel this way?! Why do I always feel this when I'm around you?! Why do I have to love you?! Why does it have to feel like my heart is broken?!

Nico Di Angelo
Right now I am desperately running around camp, looking for Ava. She wasn't at breakfast and I'm starting to worry. I'm still wondering why she ran away last night.

Was she mad that I kissed her?
Was she afraid?
Was the kiss bad?

I sure hope not. I would've have never have had the guts to kiss her if it wasnt for the dare. Out of breath I sat down near the strawberry fields. The scent was so sweet it stung my nose.

AVA WHERE ARE YOU?!

As if on cue, she walked right past me. She was wearing an American Horror story T-shirt, which is her favorite TV show, dark blue skinny jeans, red converses, and a matching red beanie.

She was holding her mp3 player. Probably listening to Demi Lovato. She soon noticed me and literally spun on her heels. I got up and started walking to her.

She looked back and saw me following her, and started walking faster. I copied her and she ran, full speed. I ran after her.

"Ava please stop!" But of course she didn't listen. She gracefully dodged other campers, as of I, did not do so graceful. She tripped over some tree roots, and I finally caught up with her.

"Damn it Ava! Gods, I think I'm having a heart attack!" She didn't look at me. She sat down and brought her knees to her chest.

"Ava can you at least tell me why you're mad at me?" I asked, sitting down next to her. Silence. I sighed and stood up.

"I'm not mad at you Nico." Her voice cracked. Something must be wrong because she never acted like before.

"Then can you tell me what's wrong?" She opened her mouth to say something, but a scream beat her to it. The ground shook violently. I pulled Ava to her feet, and we both ran towards the roar.

We got to the entrance of the camp, where the boundaries start, and a boy with blonde hair and gray eyes ran into us. He had cuts and bruises all over his face and arms.

"What's wrong?!" I asked, grabbing his shoulders.

With trembling fingers, he pointed to the woods. A foot the size of a car, flatted the trees near the entrance. A giant man wearing a loincloth stomped towards us.

"Cyclopes!"
