Stepney Pov:
It was a cold night. We kept going even though it was silent. Arthur has been acting strange for a while. He kept saying there were people everywhere. We just thought he was paranoid. We past by a station, the name was faded and worn. As we passed, we heard screams inside. The next thing I knew, Arthur had turned. He started to chase us down the line. We had to act quickly. Sir Handel and I found an old barn shed that we could hide in for now. We hide in the shed and my driver crowbared the door shut. Eventually, Arthur gave up and puffed away. We were safe from what was outside, but we did not know what was inside. It was dark in the shed so we could not see very well. I saw a shadow and then I heard a voice. "Hello? Who's there?" "It is Stepney and Sir Handel. Is that Gina?" "Oh! Yes it is. I am so glad to see you two safe and sound." "The same for you. How did you escape?", asked Sir Handel. "When I first arrived, everything was fine on the mainland. I was still working and shunting cars. One day, I woke up and it looked like it was deserted. There was no one around. I tried looking for people but the only thing I saw was Caitlin going at the speed of light out of nowhere followed by a blue streak. They both ran right into a pair of buffers and vanished. Other then that, there was nothing. A day ago, I was puffing around when I saw Hiro behind me. He was terribly infected and started to chase me. I passed a station where there was a coach of workmen which you have happened to come by. As we came to this farm shed, he stopped, like he had remembered who he was. I took that opportunity to hide in here. That's where you guys come in." "Gina, could you tell us where those buffers are that Caitlin went through?" " I would have to show you. Are you sure that is a good idea, Sir Handel?" " Yes, please show us." We came out of the shed and Gina led the way to those buffers. "Here they are. Why do you need them?" "Stepney, I need you to puff into those buffers. Gina you can join us if you want." Gina had a look on her face that said she didn't understand what he meant. Before she could say anything, we went through the buffers and into the Culdee Fell Railway with Gina not far behind.
