Emily and Henrietta made their way past the Search and Rescue Center. "I thought you said we were going back to Misty Island?" "We were but I thought about it some more and it would just be too risky to put you in any danger. Toby would come back to life and kill me if anything happened to you." "I guess you're right. Where are we going then?" "I'm going to the Tidmouth Goods Yard to see if Edward can answer why the fishing village is so important." Emily made her way to the goods yard and found Edward with Boco, Mavis, and James. "Oh, Emily! I'm so glad you are alright! Ever since you contacted us a couple days ago, I have been worried for you." "Well, I got Henrietta and weade our way around the island. Can ask a question?" "Of course. What do you need to know?" "I stumbled upon a conversation between some engines and they were talking about someone at the fishing village who would be able to bring everything back to normal. Do you have any idea who that could be?" "Something like that would take a lot of magic and the only magical engine I know is Lady. But she hasn't been to the fishing village since an incident a few years back. I'm sure it wouldn't be her. I don't know who." "Boco?", asked Emily. "Sorry, I didn't even know Lady existed until a few years back." "I wouldn't know know either, Emily.", said James. She looked at James with a sad expression on her face. "I'm so sorry this happened to you." "It's not your fault. I was in such a hurry, I didn't even realize what was happening. It's my own fault, but it's ok. I can live with it." Everyone was silent for a moment, then Mavis spoke up. "I might know someone." Then, she began to tell a story. "Back when the clay pits were still, you know, there, I was the only one at the quarry except for Toby but he only came to deliver and pick up resources. So, the Fat Controller loaned another engine from the country of India to help me at the quarry." Edward was confused, "How come I never knew about this? James and I were both there way before you." "The Fat Controller did not want everyone to know about him so he could get work done and not be distracted by questions and paparazzi. And he only took trains outside of the quarry late at night. Only me, Toby, and Percy ever knew about him." She continued her story. "Since we were practically the only ones at the quarry, we became good friends. One day, while all the workers were on their lunch break, I was shunting trucks into a siding. What I didn't know was that they were replacing the buffers for that siding right after lunch and there were none at the moment. My driver applied the brakes but it was too late. The trucks went down into the ravine below and I was next. The other engine tried pulling back up but I was too heavy. I knew it was the end and I started to fall but the next thing I knew I was in the air. He used his magic to lift me back up onto the tracks. When the workers came back, we just told them that he was able to pull me back." "What happened to him," asked Boco. "Well, after the clay pits collapsed, Bill and Ben were coming to work with me so he wasn't needed here anymore. He was sent back to India and I haven't seen him since. He was the sweetest engine and would do anything to help someone in need." "That might be who is at the fishing village then," said Emily. "We need to go and see. Mavis would you like to come?" "As long as the guys can hold down the fort." "We will be fine. Henry, Daisy, and Donald are out looking for more survivors, they should be back soon." James puffed forward, "Can I come too? Ever since this has happen I haven't felt the same. Maybe an adventure will help." "The more, the merrier," said Henrietta. "Be careful you guys," cried Boco. "You never really know who or what is going to be waiting for you." And with that, the engines made their way to the fishing village.
