Kurapika Simp Guide

Math Homework (leopika)

(Gon and Killua are in Gr.6 here)

Gon, Killua and Alluka were waiting at the front for someone to open the door. They had just got home from   school, and Gon wasn't too thrilled. He had math homework that day, in which he was terrible at. A few times he tried to slip away from Killua and Alluka, but was unsuccessful.

"Seriously Gon? Come on, it's not that hard" killua said while slightly laughing

"Yes it is! I suck at multiplication! Especially the 3 times tables! And we have that test coming soon! There's no way I'll be able to pass it!"

Alluka was the only one that wasn't involved in the conversation, so she decided to speak up

"Onii-chan? What's multiplication? "

"It's pretty muxh just skip-counting by the number you've been given by how many times the other number says"

Killua glanced over at Gon, who had aura coming out of his ears. He blew a fuse :(

"Are you kidding me Gon? If you're his bad I can't help you! Ask Mom-"

After he said that, be quickly covered his mouth in embarrassment.

"Haha! Who's mom? Are you talking about Kurapika?"

"Onii-chan? Is kurapika-san our mom?"

"S-shut up! It just slipped out! Anyways, what I MENT to say, was that you should ask Kurapika to help you.  He's pretty good at math. Compared to he old man that is"

Little did they know, Kurapika and Leorio were listening by the door secretly. Sadly, their cover was blown when Leorio got pissed off when Killua called him an old man. He swung the door open to yell at Killua

"Who are calling an old man, kid?! I'm a teenager like you remember!?"

"Wait a minute... You guys were SPYING on us?"

Insted of just standing there, Kurapika decided to back Leorio up, but not without stopping Gon from slipping away again.

"Gon? Where do you gink you're going?"

"I.. uh.. hehe"

"Killua, we weren't spying. We just heared that Gon Was having trouble with his math. Plus we knew he'd never tell up about his test, so we needed to listen"

"Yea sure. C'mon Alluka, we have homework"

"Kay!"

Everyone headed inside. Killua was sitting at the kitchen table doing his math. Alluka was sitting at the coffee table with leorio, working on spelling, (it was so f-ing cute how alluka was spelling things out loud) and Gon was sitting at his desk with Kurapika, who was helping him with his math.

"Ok Gon, let's try... Number 4. What's 6x3?"

Gon starred at the paper for a moment, trying to comprehend what was on the page infront of him. He looked pretty focused, until aura started coming out of his ears again

Kurapika was slightly shocked. He knee Gon wasn't the brightest bulb in the pack when it came to math, but still.

"Seems you're having trouble understanding. Let me explain. What's 6x2? Or 6+6? It's ok to use your fingers"

Gon started counding his fingers until he got the answer.

"Oh! It's 12, right?"

"That's right. Now add another 6"

Again, Gon started counting his fingers until the answer was revealed

"It's 18!"

"Yes it is. Now write it down"

Gon started scribbling the answer down on the paper, along with the addition equation

"Let me tell you something I learned from my family.  They told me that if it's multiplied by 3, its times 2, just added once more"

"Multiplied by 2.. then added once more..  Like this?"

Gon began to solve another question, which was 4x3

"So I add 4+4.. then add 4 to 8. I got 12"

"Yes that's correct, good job Gon. It seems that all of the questions are multiplied by 3, so can i leave you to it? You can come to me when you're done or have trouble again"

"I think I can do it myself now. Thanks Kurapika"

Kurapika makes his way out of Gon's room and into the living room where Leorio and alluka were. Kurapika decided to surprise Leorio with a back hug"

"Hello handsome. How's the spelling going?"

"It's going pretty good. Hey Alluka? Show Kurapika your spelling"

"Kay! Cupcake is spelled C-u-p-c-a-k-e!

"Great job Alluka! Where'd Killua go?

"Onii-chan finished his work so he's playing outside. Once I'm done, I wanna play too!"

"How'd the math go with Gon?"

After hearing the question, Kurapika proudly strut across the couch and sat down next to Leorio

"Let's just say.. I'm the better parent"

After the first 3 words, Kurapika crossed one of his legs and tilted his head back, still facing Leorio. Like one of those  rich teenagers. (Aka alois trancy)

"So it went well? Wait you're the better parent?

"I like oreo-san's parenting! "

"Thank you Alluka. At least someone appreciates my parenting here"

"Anyways, I taught Gon a multiplication trick that my family taught me"

When the sentence finished, Gon came darting into the living room with a piece of paper

"Look Kurapika! I finished all of the questions, and it's all because of the trick you taught me!"

"See Gon? You don't suck at math. I have a feeling you're gonna do just fine on your test"

"I gotta show Killua"

As Gon ran towards the back door, leorio turned to face Kurapika

"Huh. So you did teach him something"

"Obviously. I'm gonna let you process that wlile I make dinner"

As a joke, kurapika patted leorio's head, stood up and walked towards the kitchen. Leaving Leorio with Alluka again

"Thank god... Now let's do... number 6...
