I live on my own. Everything and everyone I have had before was gone. My pack was killed by a group of men that wanted our land. I'm the only one that survived and was able to flee.
My clothes drenched in water and blood. I pretended to not be alive. There was so much commotion and then it stopped. When I got up it was quiet. The people that raided us were bloody.
Before I left I heard a voice crying my name. "Y/n. You are strong, independent, and a survivor. Take this and find help. There is no pack for us any longer." The pack leader hands me a bag full of equipment and food.
"I will honor you in my heart." "Run." And with that I did as he said. Now here I am wondering in the woods, alone. That was 4 days ago. "A lake. I'm so thirsty." Like the thirsty animal I am, I happily gather water from the lake.
In the midst of me gulping down this water, I hear feet. My ears perk up and I look around to spot someone standing there. I quickly shove my water in my bag to run. "Wait! I'm not here to hurt you." I continue to move away and look around like a scared pup.
"Please. I'm gentle I promise." He steps out and I see him fully. I growl a bit until I sense how sincere he is. He is sweet. I keep a distance but move closer to the stranger.
"I just came to get some water and that's all." He shyly walks pass me and fills up a few water bottles. "D-Did you want one?" He's shaking.
I walk up close enough to sniff him. "Where's your pack?" He sits his water bottles down and removes his jacket. He places it over me then pats my head gently. "I'm Taehyung what's your name?" He smiles and sits down on the ground.
"Y/n." "Your voice is beautiful." I sit down along with him but stay aware of my surroundings. "My pack is dead. A group of men killed them." He must sense my sadness. He sighs and grabs his bag.
I quickly move away but all he does is pulls out his food. "Don't be alarmed. I'm similar to you." Taehyung smiles and puts his hand out. His nails looks like he tried to cut them down but they have grown out. "You can bite the hell out of me if I try anything. I promise." I gently take his hand.
"Your clothes are soaked. We should get you changed." "Can I have that mango?" My stomach growls. He nods and smiles. I eat the mango and he feeds me even more food until I'm full.
I haven't felt this way in days.
"I have a pack and we can protect you." "I need to clean myself. I don't have any clothes-"
"I have some clothes for you. Come with me." I put some trust in him and help him gather his bottles of water. "You're really pretty by the way." Taehyung smiles and takes my bag. "Thank you."
We walk for a few minutes all the way to his pack. Many of them stare at me. "T-Tae-" "It's okay. They're really nice once they meet you." We walk further to his beautiful home. Shaking because I'm cold, my bare feet touch his carpet.
"I'll get you some things to shower." He carries me to his bathroom so I stand there quietly.

I dry my hair and wrap myself with the towel. "I got you some clothes and undergarments. Use my room to change." Taehyung shuts the door and I quickly lock it.
I dress myself and unlock the door.

"How do I look?" "Beautiful."
"Are these your mate's clothes?" "I don't have one yet. Do you?" I shake my head. "I'm alone." Taehyung hugs me. My tail starts wagging making him chuckle. "How cute."
- 6 Months Later
"It's cold outside~" i shyly hide behind Taehyung. "You can't hide behind me forever." Taehyung turns around and kisses my forehead. "Stop doing that~" I blush. We haven't officially told each other that we like each other but he takes care of me.
"You have to meet my brothers." "They are scary." "I'm right here." I look up in his eyes and they are very genuine. I dress in one of his hoodies, that is big on me and go to my knees, and some mini shorts just in case.
- "This is Y/n. Y/n these are my brothers." I squeeze his hand nervously. They stare at me intently and I squeeze my eyes shut. "She's adorable! Is this your mate yet?" The boys gather around me, asking me a bunch of questions.
"H-Hi." I keep my eyes on my shoes. "Look how shy she is it's so cute!" The really smiley one says. "Yah! Back off. She's already nervous you'll make it worst. Now introduce yourselves." Taehyung pulls me close.
"I'm Hoseok."
"I'm Jimin."
"I'm Namjoon."
"I'm Jungkook."
"I'm Jin."
The last one yawns with a smile making me feel warm inside. "I'm Yoongi." "Is she your mate yet?" Namjoon questions Taehyung. "Hyung~" my tail wags and quickly catches the others attention. I quickly grab my tail. "Sorry."
"Stop staring at her like that! You're making her nervous." Taehyung stroked my tail. "Sorry~" the boys all apologize at once. "We're just curious about Taehyung's new mate that's all." Jimin smiles making me smile.
- The boys were actually really sweet to me. They hint at Taehyung being my mate a lot. "She's beautiful, depends on you for comfort, and adorably shy. You better get to her before someone else tries to." Jin pinched my cheeks making my tail wag of happiness.
"Bye, hyung." Taehyung sighs. He takes my hand and we go back home. "Are you okay?" I think Taehyung has something on his mind so I move closer. I nervously mess with my tail. "Yeah I just have a little bit on my mind." He gives me his smile but it's not the same.
I let my tail go and hug Taehyung. "You don't have to hug me every time something feels off to you." "You don't have to pet me when I feel upset."
"Trying to use reverse on me huh?" Taehyung smiles genuinely this time. I even notice his tail wagging. "Taehyungie can I umm..." I look deep into his eyes. "What? My brother's influenced you to make a move on me?" Taehyung doesn't let go of my waist.
Before I could do or say anything else we hear a large crash.
This can't happen again.
"Don't worry. We have protection." I look by the window and see similar men that killed my people trying to attack but are having a struggle. "This is OUR land. Leave or die." The white man with an adventurous hat smiles making the rest of the men chuckle.
"Tae..." "Look behind them. Way behind them." I look around but I don't notice anything until I hear a ringing noise making me whine. "Tae cut that out!" I whisper yell at him.
"That wasn't me this time. That's the signal." I look closer and smile of relief. "There's more of us than you think." The men are snatched of their weapons quickly and held to the ground. "You're safe, princess. I promised you." I blush at the nickname he suddenly gives me.
I turn around to see him smiling at me. "Now what is it you wanted to do?" Taehyung grabs my hand and takes me away from the window. Dragging me to his room. "It's nothing." "No it's not. You've got something you want to do then do it. My eyes are closed." Taehyung puts his hands up and closes his eyes.
For a moment I just admire him fully while I can. I slowly let my feet walk to him. "I'm really sorry for this." I crash my lips Into his while holding his face in my hands. "That's my girl." He lays me on the bed and well..
