Her 'chocolate-smoothie' like eyes, I couldn't help but zone in into them throughout our conversations. Usually browns are boring, yet something made hers stand up.
Either it was just that she knew how to do her eye makeup real well, or I had seen them somewhere before
But that was highly unlikely , I concluded, slurping my coffee without paying much mind to my unlady-like posture or anything else for that matter. There was no way I couldn't have noticed such a beauty before, or at least my rusty memory lanes held no recollection of such an auspicious encounter.
"Selena"
The soft touch of her fingers over mine brought me back to the world. I guess this must have been the fifth time that she had called me out of my trance. To say I felt quite a bit embarrassed would've been the understatement of the year. Quite out of instinct as it was, I retracted my hand back in between my thighs, looking anywhere but her eyes.
Be confident. Act confident. You can do it. She's just a girl. A beautiful girl; The girl with beauty magic powerful enough to make you drool.
Aghhh! Fuck my brain
"Are you . . . okay?" I watched from the corner of my eyes as she tilted her head, her enchanting gaze never leaving mine. It made me question myself whether it was just me or each of her moves seemed overly graceful-ised.
Yup. I just made that word up. My story, my vocabulary.
I simply nodded, unable to put a suitable name to this feeling that I felt for her. Perhaps I had stayed single for too long. Not that I had dated more than two girls or three in these 22 years of my existence.
"It's just your eyes." I hesitated a bit, yet spoke what clouded my mind nonetheless. "They seem to be oddly familiar."
Something twitched in her expressions and even if it were there for a split second, I saw her taken aback by what I had said. Or maybe my mind had just made it up, for she chuckled aloud a moment later while I continued to watch her awkwardly. Obviously she'd laugh. We had been nothing more than strangers just a night ago; how in the world would I have seen her before.
Embarrassed umpteenth time on the very same day. Amazing . . .
"Maybe you saw me on Tik-Tok" She stated, stirring her latte. "I sure have a growing number of followers over there."
I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, the cushion somehow burning my ass as if it were lit on fire. I was really hoping that it wasn't exactly Tik-Tok where I'd seen her
Thirsty lesbian traps TikToks all the way in my for you page, folks
Nonetheless I cleared my throat, managing to make an eye contact with her. "Yeah, maybe that's all it is."
Followed right after were the casual date conversations, mild flirtations and quite a few lame jokes. Turns out Camilla shared the same sense of broken humor that I was born blessed with.
Our drinks were over a quite a while ago, yet here we were still going about random get-to-know questions. Somehow it was fun and engaging. Camilla was fun and engaging. I was quite right about her age; she was 25, living by herself at a small place just down the street. She didn't really have a favourite color or song, but her favourite Pokémon was Meowth.
For all those of you who have a terrible memory(which very much like me), Meowth was Team Rocket's pussy on board.
I sighed to myself. Perhaps someone wouldn't take her as the most appealing person, but everything about her screamed grace. Grace and warmth. And I couldn't help but keep losing myself into her eyes again and again. . . and again. That is, until my eyes somehow switched to the blonde girl who took our orders today.
Stephanie
The name was still fresh at the back of my mind. It had to be her. My eyes couldn't be playing tricks on me; they had seen all of her way too many times than I could count on my tips. But why was she here? It wasn't like she had something to do with me, right? I didn't even have anything to say to her. We were a past record, something that I didn't really want to come across again.
"Are you feeling alright?" The company of my companion made me realise that I'd been frowning for some time lost in my own thoughts.
"Uh-yeah, yeah." My eyes met hers, finding dissatisfaction still hanging in them. "Got reminded of some office work and deadlines is all." I tried waving it off with a classic chuckle.
She simply smiled a bit, bringing her hand to cover mine. "If something's bothering you, you can tell me anytime, alright?" Her voice held an authority, yet her tone remained soft. And sure enough I found myself nodding to her words like a love-sick puppy.
Woof woof
"Well, I think I really enjoyed your company today milady." She pulled herself up, and so did I, flashing her a smile back in response. A gorgeous grin came back over the crimson shades of her lips, and I found my intestines rupturing inside.
She's so gorgeous. Fucking Aphrodite in flesh.
"Maybe she's too beautiful for me" A husked breath left my lungs, my face turning red as the realisation dawned over me. Something had slipped out of my mouth, something not really meant for Camilla to hear.
But all that she did was chuckle under her breath, only to bite her lower lip ever so lightly. "Would you perhaps wanna hang about my place before you head back over?"
Her eyes looked me once over, and somehow I found myself squeezing into my button-up cardigan and the casual pair of washed denims that I'd put on. "It's just around the block. Consider it as a short walk added up with a house tour . . . and stuff. "
I glanced up at her curious eyes, my brain taking its own time to process things up. 'Stuff' she had said. My throat grew drier the more that I looked into her eyes, my mind somehow sent into a freeze mode.
Oh holy Satan
