What a terrible morning it was for you; a minute before your alarm was to go off, you get a phone call from your manager informing you of the news that your company had been shut down.

You have just been put in a sticky situation as you didn't know what to do. You were now out of a job, what was there to do now?

Amy was already downstairs in the kitchen, as the smell of freshly cooked bacon had reached your senses. Before joining her, you try all you can to collect your distraught emotions and pull yourself together. However, that wasn't an option due to how everything happened so fast, causing you to feel a panic attack arise within you. Taking a deep breath, you open your door and made your way downstairs. Amy knows you well enough to understand your emotions by sound. For example, she knew you were having a panic attack just by the sound of your footsteps.

Once in her view, she pulls out a chair from the round dining table before going over to you and taking your hand in hers as she lead you to the chair to talk it out with you.

"What's going on?" She asks, rubbing her thumbs over your knuckles.

"I can't believe this! I'm so upset!"

"Y/n, honey! Tell me what's going on!"

"They've closed the center." Amy looks at you with concern.

"Not your grief counseling center?"

At this point, words weren't doing you anymore favors, so you let your head fall into her lap as you begin to breakdown as an answer to her response. You feel her soft touch as she rested her hand on your back as she rubs it in a comforting way, trying to think of what to say next, or on how to help you. You are able to pull yourself together, straightening yourself back in your chair before speaking up.

"What am I going to do? I'm out of a job, I have to do something with my life! I can't just stay home with nothing to do and be here without you."

Amy has a suggestion played out in mind, and she decides to share it with you, in hopes of getting you to agree to it.

"Everything will be okay, Y/n. I promise you that. I know it sucks right now, but just that this just means there's a bigger and better opportunity that equals more success waiting for you to find it. Why don't we take a couple weeks off before going in search of it? So that you're ready to take on?"

The idea seemed to help you relax a bit, so you nod your head in agreement; just as she had hoped for you to do.

"Great! Let's eat, I'm don't know about you, but I'm starving!"
