Saving Me

Chapter 5

It's been almost two weeks since Levi was hospitalized, in a day or two he would be released. Except school hours and despite Levi's protests, Eren hasn't left his bedside.

-Heichouuuu, - singing Eren barged into the room. He was holding a big bouquet of flowers and a chocolate candy box.

-Eren the place is already looking like a freaking fantasy of the Easter Bunny, - Levi growled with his deep voice. Eren had been bringing Levi flowers and sweets of all kind every day, - And it's not even Valentine's Day..

-Fresh flowers will make you feel better, and the candy will give you energy! - Eren happily exclaimed, - And if you already mentioned it, you know you're gonna be my valentine.

-No.

-Oh please Leviiiii! - Eren turned all puppy-eyed again, - C'mmon! Please go out with me on Valentine's Day. I don't want to be alone! You don't have to kiss me or even hold my hand, just please go out with me!

Levi squinted at Eren.

-If you want, I can bring Mikasa and Armin, like last year. That way you won't feel..

-No! - Levi exclaimed loudly, - I..I mean..Don't bring them. I'll go out with you, but only the two of us..

-Oh my god! Levi I love you so much! - Surprised, Eren hugged the brunette. Levi was surprised too by his own reaction, but there was something inside him that didn't want to share his time with Eren with anybody else.

Finally Valentine's Day arrived. It's been a few days since Levi was released, and he was actually feeling pretty well.

-So what would you like to do on our date today Levi? - Eren asked eagerly as they were walking home from school.

-Just meet me by the dolphin fountain at 5pm, - Levi mumbled expressionless as always.

-Do you have some surprise for me? - Eren's eyes lit up.

-Well if it's a surprise I can't tell you, can I, brat?

More then being filled with curiosity, Eren was excited that Levi actually invested some of his own time on planning his date with him. For once he felt like Levi actually cared.
