-What do you want to drink?
-Whatever you have.
Eren put two glasses of cola on the cofee table in his living room and sat next to Levi on the couch.
They played for about an hour, then Eren put some action movie in the DVD. The whole time Levi's mind fought to focus on the game and then on the movie, but every time his memory threw him back to that night. His mind was desperately looking for some distraction, but failed to hang on to it more than a few seconds.
For the first time in two years Eren didn't try to make a pass at Levi, especially when it involved a movie. And by the end of it Eren was still sitting half a meter away from Levi.
-Hey, brat, – "Brat" was Levi's favorite nickname for Eren, and with time Eren became kind of fond of it.
He turned his head to find Levi's face a few centimeters away from his. Suddenly Levi pressed his lips against Eren's. He softly kissed Eren for what seemed to be the most amazing minute in the world. Levi's lips were so soft and gentle. Eren had dreamed about it for so long, he imagined this moment for thousands of times, tens of thousands of times. But something wasn't right.
Unwillingly Eren pulled back.
-No..Levi..You are not doing this because you like me, do you?
The silence that filled the room gave out the answer.
-You are doing it because you are in pain..And you're just looking for ways to shut it off. And I completely understand you, but going this way is not the solution. You know I'm here for you, and I love you so much, but it's not the way I want things to happen. We will both just get hurt.
Levis' face darkened.
-So you're telling me that after two years of trying to get me, I finally give you what you want, and you're just throwing it away like that??
-Levi I want it more than anything else in the world! But you don't want Me, you just want relief from the pain.
-So what?? What does it matter?? Here I am! Take me Eren!
-No, - Eren was on the verge of tears, he could see the pain and despair in Levi's eyes. All he wanted to do was make it go away, but no way in hell he would take advantage of his weakness like that.
-You ungrateful piece of.. – Levi grabbed his bag and stormed out of Eren's house.
-Levi.. – Eren desperately whispered. He decided not to follow him, so Levi could calm down and get to the right conclusions by himself.
