I got home and immediately flopped down on my bed and sighed. I started on my homework hoping I would still be able to do it after spending an hour with Jefferson. After an hour all of my homework was done and almost all of my brain cells were back. I sighed, it would be really boring just sitting around and reading books I had already read until dinner. I sat up fast, we could go shopping!  My dad had a few rules like we had to be at home at sundown but it was a hour or 2 until sundown. Peggy might not want to come  but I knew Eliza would be up for it.

I smiled, and rushed downstairs where Eliza and Peggers were doing their homework. I grabbed my coat and keys and asked," Hey do you want to go downtown? Eliza nodded and stood up, grabbing her coat. Peggy frowned not looking up and said," Daddy said to be home by Sundown"! I rolled my eyes," Daddy doesn't need to know! She frowned again and looked up," Daddy said not to go Downtown"! Eliza spoke up," You don't have to come". Peggy sighed, grabbed her sweater and followed us out the door. We got in my car and headed to Starbucks. Peggy got some cake pops, Eliza got the Strawberry Acai Refreshing drink. I just got a mocha. We headed to Barnes and Noble next and I started browsing the fantasy books looking for some good reads. I picked up a book about one of our country's Founding Fathers, Lin Manuel Miranda. (A/N whelp the cast of Hamilton is the founding family. I am keeping the story's of their characters for them tho)

Suddenly a voice whispered in my ear, good book 10 out of 10. I jumped and glared at Jefferson standing behind me. I sighed and looked back and the blurb of the book ignoring him. I put the book in my basket and looked for some other books. Jefferson followed me around and I ignored him. I walked over to my sisters who were socializing with a group of guys some of which I recognized. " Who are your friends", I asked my sisters hoping Jefferson would leave me alone. Spoiler Alert! He didn't. Eliza blushed," These are me and Peggy's partners with some of their friends". I smiled," Well, it's time for us to go some say goodbye to these young gentlemen and come over to the counter to pay for your books. Eliza and Pegs blushed and did that, getting the boys numbers as they did. I turned around and started walking over there but Jefferson pulled me over. " What"? I asked annoyed. " Um," He muttered," We should probably exchange numbers too for the project". I sighed and grudgingly gave him my number then walked away as he did a dumb little victory dance. We paid for the books and got in the car. " Soooo," I said with a smile," Some of those boys are pretty cute huh"? They groaned and we drove back chatting and laughing.
