Landing two days before the interview wasn't a bad idea; it gave me time to prepare. I took a final look in the washroom mirror running my fingers through my straight hair. I kept my outfit minimal, pairing a white shirt with a violet knee-length pencil skirt and a lavender scarf. [Picture above]
The next thing I knew was me sitting in front of Shelly O'Brien the CEO of S8s'
"Well Anna, may I call you Anna?" She kept scanning my CV.
"Yes, of course Ms O'Brien." I smiled at her
" Go on, call me Shelly. We don't do formalities here" he looked up at me. I nodded at her.
" As promised, you are given the internship of junior stylist here for 6 months and if we feel you are worthy enough , you'll be hired then." She handed me a file "go through it, it will help you, any queries?"
"No Ms O'Bre – I mean, Shelly" it really felt weird to call her by her name.
"Nice outfit by the way and Welcome to S8s, see you after fall" she held her hand out
"Thank you so much" I took her hand and gave it a light shook and smiled.

"Hello!" Tia sang through the phone "what did they say?"
"I GOT IT! They are having me at this internship for 6 months, joining after falls and then if they feel like I am capable, it'll be permanent" I decided calling Tia while my ride back to the hotel. I really need to rent a small apartment very soon.
"Have you told your parents?" she asked
"No not yet, I have booked a flight to Rennes for tomorrow. Planning on surprising them"
"That's great, but do not forget about me, face time every day. Okay?"
"Okay" I giggled "I got to go, bye"
"Bye"
I texted Aiden as soon a cut the call
-You think you free tom?
The dots started dancing as he typed
-Yep. The match is on Friday, coach gave us a two day break. Why?
-Don't tell mom dad, I have some news, coming home tomorrow.
The dots danced again but stopped as his face popped up in the bg. Swiping right I accepted his video call.
"What up?" I smiled at him through the screen. The embarrassment was clearly visible in his features and anyone could tell that he was hiding something.
"Nothing it's just, um, something happened back here" he mumbled the words almost inaudible.
"What did you do? Don't tell me you swapped rooms with me" I tried to lighten the mood but he dryly chuckled
"Something more horrible, come soon okay? We need to talk. Love ya" in a split of second his face was gone leaving me dazed.
"Okay..Love ya too" I mumbled to myself as I climbed out of the cab and headed towards my hotel.
I turned my shower off and wrapped a towel before heading towards the closet. I was already running late and it's a good thing that the airport is only 30 minutes away from where I am staying. I quickly shrugged into a dress and dragged my bags out of the room and locked it behind me. The cab was already waiting, I rushed in.
Within a few minutes I reached the airport successfully and waited for the procedures. Finally after a short wait the boarding began and I found my seat. It was already dawn, I pushed the shutter up and enjoyed the view as the flight took off wondering what could possibly happen back in house.
Well, let's find out once we reach.
