"Whatcha doing?" Biana asked, peering over Dex's shoulder.
"Making a new defensive gadget, want to try it out?" He asked.
"OF COURSE I DO." Biana said.
"Ok, just put this on your arm," he fastened the weird-looking gadget onto Biana's wrist, "and press this button with your finger."
"It's so plain." Biana complained.
"It's being tested, it doesn't have to look nice. Now try it." Dex said.
"No. Make it look nice." Biana demanded.
"I'll make it pink." Dex said, and reluctantly painted the gadget over in pink.
"There," he clipped the gadget onto Biana's arm once again, "now try."
"Nothings happening." Biana said, as she clicked the button over and over again.
"Look up." He said, and the entire ceiling was fogged up with smoke.
"Woah." Biana whispered.
"You truly are amazing."
"It's just- thanks." Dex said, his face turning a fiery red.
"How'd you make it?" Biana asked, her eyes wide with intrigue.
"It's quite simple really. But, just kind of hard to explain." Dex said.
"Don't be so modest, everything you make is amazing. You're amazing." Biana said.
"I-uh." Dex started, then Biana placed her soft lips onto his cheek. She had kissed him. Dex had only ever been kissed by Sophie, and he did not want a reminder of that. Sure, it was only on the cheek but it still meant something. Didn't it?
Biana kissed him. Wow. He looked shocked. He looked embarrassed. Had she made the right move? Maybe just sitting next to him would have been a better idea. But he looked happy too. Maybe it wasn't a horrible move. Just maybe.
"I-I love you." Dex managed to spit out.
"I love you too."
