Chapter 11: The Sudden Team Change. Straw Hat Trio vs Groggy Monsters!

Everyone was shocked. The Straw Hat Pirates on the shore watch as Nami, Usopp, and Robin suddenly stop and let the opposing crew past them and reach the finish line. The Foxy Pirates cheer and gloat with absolute delight at their victory. Eventually, Foxy begins to join the crowd and starts yelling about taking a crew mate.

"Someone explain to me on what happened back there!" Sanji yells towards the crowd. "We were about to win!"

"Yeah, you were about to." laughs one of the crew members.

The crew quickly got close to the trio who are still floating in the water. The three on the raft were out of breath and are still recollecting on what has happened.

"We thought we were going to win too." Nami says after she recollects herself. "But, once that beam hit us, I couldn't move my body. No, we could, but really slowly."

Luffy and the others helped the three onto the shore and Nami and Usopp slumps to the ground in disappointment.

"When we recovered, the enemy already won." Usopp said with a defeated tone.

"What did he do?" Luffy asks as he faces the cheering crowd.

Soon, Foxy approaches the Straw Hats while letting out a laugh.

"That was too easy!" laughs the split headed man. "Thanks to my Noro Proton."

"Noro Photon?" Abell repeats.

"Indeed, it is an atom not discovered by scientists yet. Any form of life or liquid hit by it's radiation will not lose energy, but it's physical velocity is dramatically decreased." Foxy explains.

"What kind of crap are you talking about stupid?" Luffy yells.

Foxy slumps to his knees in response to Luffy's insult. This caused Porche to comfort her captain while Abell snickers loudly.

"Something like that isn't possible!" Nami counters.

"Not possible? Haven't you learned that anything is possible in the great seas?" Foxy asks. "Anyways, anything that my Noro Photon touches will slow down. That is the Noro Photon."

"Why didn't you say so Split Head?"

Foxy ignores Luffy's comment and reveals himself to be a slow slow man who ate the slow slow devil fruit. Thanks to his crew mate Hombog, Foxy gave the crew a more close up example. The large man shot a cannonball at his captain, but thanks to Foxy's Noro Noro beam, the cannonball slowed down. It was as Foxy said, he really can slow anything down.
According to Foxy, the effects wear off after 30 seconds and whatever is slowed down will gain it's momentum back. In this case, the cannonball that was slowed down returns and hits Foxy further proving his point. Regardless, the sad fact is that Foxy's team won and now he can choose on of the eight crew mates.

"The first I take is you!" Foxy yells as he points downwards. "The doctor, Tony Tony Chopper!"

The pirates didn't hesitate and grab the reindeer and carries his to their side. Luffy, Nami, Usopp, and Abell can only watch in horror as a valuable crew mate is taken from them. However, rather as a doctor, they seem him as a pet.

"Those bitches took Chopper because he looks like a rare pet." Sanji angrily said.

"Is he a collector of rare pets?" Nami asks.

"Hopefully not a collector of rare pelts." Robin adds.

"Enough with the jokes!" Usopp yells. "They took our friend!"
