Hey guys! Just a reminder that this fanfic will not be updating at a steady pace mostly because I want to focus on my other fanfics, but I'll try to make drafts of this one as I go so please patient. Anyways, let's continue on with the story. It's been about a few hours since Abell has officially joined the Straw Hat crew and she found the experience so far exciting. She hasn't been out at sea since her Reservior recruitment and going back to the ocean gives her a refreshing feel.
"Hey Abell, how are you liking the sea so far?" Luffy asks Abell who's leaning against the rails of the Merry.
"It's nice to be able to get out." Abell said with a smile. "The life of a pirate is a free one where we can explore all we can!"
Luffy smiles in agreement.
"Why don't you talk with the crew?" Luffy suggests. "Some of them wanted to talk and meet with you. They look very excited to see you."
Abell agreed and made her way around the ship to meet among her new crew mates. She is also pretty interested in meeting her new crew mates as well. The first one she wanted to talk with is Zoro, whom she already fought with briefly. He wasn't hard to find as he is currently lifting dumbbells from the back of the ship.
"Hey Zoro." Abell calls as she walks towards him. "Any hard feelings from losing to me during our first confrontation?"
Zoro smirks and tosses his dumbbell to Abell which she catches with ease.
"I haven't shown you how strong I can be." Zoro smirks as he grabs his swords. "As the future 'Strongest Swordsman', I can't afford to call that fight a loss."
Abell could feel an intense pressure coming from him. She smiles and carelessly tosses the weight aside.
"After all, you were going easy on me and if there is one thing I despise is opponents who toy around." Zoro says as he puts his bandana around his head. "Prepare yourself."
"I see." Abell growls as she cracks her neck. "In that case, it's only fair that I show you the same courtesy."
Before either side could take a step forward, Zoro gets whacked by the head and nearly got knocked out. It was a fuming Nami.
"Can't you not get into a fight the moment we go out to sea?" Nami furiously asks the swordsman. "And you!"
Abell froze in fear as Nami walks up to her.
"Let's go to my room! We need to get away from all these boys and have some girl time." Nami says as she drags Abell below deck.
Abell couldn't even retort to Nami's advances and so accepted Nami's invitation. Nami brought Abell to the girl's quarters where Robin is present. Once there, Nami pushes Abell into a hammock that was just hung up.
"Alright, now that the boys are away, I want to know more about you." Nami said with a smile. "As much as I like being around Robin, being with a girl that is the same age is more enjoyable."
"I'm also very intrigued to know about you as well." Robin adds.
At first, Abell was taken aback by the sudden turn of events, but regain composure.
"Well, for starters, my name is Volour D. Abell." Abell said. "I grew up with Luffy and Ace."
"That explains why you two were energetic when you first met from before." Nami said. "Still, I can't believe Luffy never mention anything about you."
"I don't find that odd at all." Abell says as she leans into the hammock. "Me and Ace are probably not a topic that he would bring up on his own."
"Now that you mention it, Luffy didn't mention anything about Ace at all until we met him back at Alabasta." Nami said.
