He's my Friend, My Captain and my Savior

Chapter 7: Straw Hats will set off soon. Goodbye Reservoir.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the next chapter and I hope you will enjoy the conclusion of my so called 'Reservoir Arc'. I don't own One Piece, just my OC.

After Luffy pummeled Abell through the roof of the Reservoir, he and Abell fell straight down into the ring with a loud thud. Once the dust cleared, almost everyone got on the ring to see if either Luffy or Abell was conscious. The audience saw that Luffy groaning and barely conscious while Abell was out cold and reverted back to her human form. Luffy suddenly coughs once more before attempting to sit up, but was stopped by Chopper since his wounds from Abell were opening.

"Forget about me, go help Abell." Luffy told Chopper for which he hesitantly did.

With help from the Reservoir crew, Abell was taken to the infirmary and looked by the medical staff and Chopper. Luffy on the other hand, had his wounds messily wrapped with bandages by Usopp who volunteered to patch him up.

"Couldn't you have gone easier on Abell?" Sanji asks angrily as he stuck his foot into Luffy's face not caring that he's injured.

"I can't help it." Luffy complains. "She said we can go all out in the fight."

"Still, was beating her through the roof really okay?" Usopp asks as he looked at the gaping hole in the ceiling which was being fixed by some of the staff members.

"Calm down you guys." Zoro said out loud. "Abell put Luffy through a life threatening situation in order to defeat him and it's only fair that he will do the same."

"Fine." Sanji sighs.

Luffy smiles as he thought back on their fights from the past. He and Abell would fight till one of them couldn't move and the winner would have to carry the loser back to the bandit hut. All that fighting that led to this point finally paid off and now they can both sail the seas.

"Guys, so what do you think?" Luffy asks his crew. "Are you guys okay with having Abell join us as Vice Captain?"

Everyone smiles in response to Luffy's question.

"I'm fine with having another crew member like her." Usopp said. "Although, she does seem a bit on the wild side."

"She is strong and can handle herself clearly." Zoro adds.

"I think having another girl on the crew will be fun." Nami agrees.

"I guess it's settled then." said a voice from the dock.

The crew turned to see Wacke who happened to hear the conversation. Next to him was Chopper, Wrench, Drive and Hammer.

"Abell is fine, but she will need some rest." Chopper said as he hops onto the Merry and starts to tend to Luffy's wounds.

"Umm Straw Hat, can we speak with you?" Wrench asks Luffy nervously. "It's about Abell."

~Meanwhile...

After the battle, Abell was sent to the Reservoir infirmary to get healed. After an hour of rest, she started to stir and groan.

Gum Gum Storm!

Band Talons!

"Augh!"

Abell suddenly rose from her bed in shock. Now that Abell is awake, she began to ponder on what happened while she was asleep. She tries to get up, but was stopped by a sudden pain and looks down to notice several bandages covering her body. Abell looks around to see where she was and after a few moments she finally recollected on the recent events.
