Tispe at it Again... Reset?

"Please."

"No Paul-"

"Do it."

"Ash!"

"Did you not see the damage?"

Paul had been struck again, this time was rather close to a loss. He hadn't left Ash's calm embrace as he tried to relax.

"Why not...?" Ash rubbed his back as Paul's Audino lightly healed him.

"Don't think about it. Rest..." Paul didn't have much of a push as he fell asleep once more.

Paul wasn't having it that night. Probably why Ash suggested the Musharna. The small pokemon kept his sleeping mind in check. He was, though, getting weaker from the now consistent strikes from the tispe. In fact, Bonnie had to resume temporary Elite Four status with how bad it actually was. Purple at least helped him see the matches and talk to his teammates.

"Hey, you're finally awake!" Paul huffed at the blonde's words.

"Sorry for making you do this, Bonnie." She scoffed.

"Nah... it's ok. I would rather do this than listen to the Turners' constant pleading." Paul let out a weak laugh as Ash hummed.

"Purple, how's he feeling?" Purple gulped as Paul rubbed his face.

"He's actually been up and down for a while now. I have successfully gotten him to a stable position to let him relax." Ash nodded as Delia growled.

"Bonnie, incoming..."

"Mom!"

"Delia!"

"I'm sorry!" Paul let out a weak sound before darkness clouded his vision.

"Hey Paul, take a nap."

"I don't-" He stopped his words before rubbing his face. "I don't want to feel like a burden..."

"You won't. We got this."

Paul woke up to Mimikyu bringing food in. His stomach growled as he smiled.

"Thanks Mimikyu..."

It squealed as he took the food.

"Did you make the food?"

It pointed to the eggs. He smiled as he brought it up to his side on the bed.

"It's not that I don't trust you, I'm curious."

It paused as he ate up. He smiled.

"Did you bribe someone for the rest?"

It nodded before looking down. He smiled.

"It tastes great buddy. Thanks."

It's eyes lit up before a knock came. Ash stepped in.

"Morning. How're you feeling?" Paul smiled.

"Better... don't know how long that'll last...." Ash smiled.

"Hey Paul... I never get a chance to see you fight... Do you want to go out and present?" He paused and nodded.

"Sure. Come on, Mimikyu."

Paul giggled at Ash's comment to Max's teasing. They had taken a break and the Story Chain leader was trying to taunt Paul into an argument. However, Paul was so busy trying to stay awake that it hurt.

"Hey Paul?"

"Hm?"

"I have info."

"About?"

"The tispe."

Paul met Max's eye instantly.

"What?"

"Me and the rangers were looking into him. And we found out enough that all we need is to take him out." Paul paused.

"No way..." Max nodded.

"Sadly, he won't fall easily. I say we get enough support for it." Paul nodded.

"I'm going to bed... my head hurts..." The other two joined him as he went home.

Little did they know, a particular pair of eyes hit the group. Kenny gulped before flying away.
