May, Drew and Dawn were flying towards Kanto. They didn't really want to go, but something came up. They were needed in Pallet Town, where Gary had said he needed them. Dawn didn't seem to mind as much as they landed in front of the lab. Drew frowned.

"I have so many questions for him." May glanced at him and nodded. Dawn shrugged.

"He hasn't really said anything since Ash disappeared." Drew raised an eyebrow.

"Look who's talking."

Dawn smiled at him before knocking on the door. There was silence before the Oak opened the door. He had definitely changed since the last time they saw him, which was before they even considered the turning. He was a lot taller from before and he wore some lab clothes. He smiled at them.

"Thanks for coming. We have some things to discuss. If you guys don't mind sharing to the other side." The trio sent glances at each other before going in. The lab looked very much like it was before the turning. Gary pulled some chairs over to a table and paused. "Here."

"Thanks..." May whispered as they sat down. Dawn paused for a moment.

"Quiet much?" She glanced at the bluette as she fiddled with her fingers.

"Leave it for now, Dawn." Drew mumbled as he turned to the Oak. "What did you need to talk to us about?" Gary smiled at him.

"Well first... places. You three are the only ones that haven't done anything major in this battle." Drew paused as Dawn straightened up.

"I'm in the middle, per say. I've been working with Paul and his area to help them recover from some unfortunate events. His group is a decent group that knows what they're doing in terms of helping people." Gary nodded as May glanced at Drew.

"We've been gathering data, not for anyone in particular, of the battle. A lot of secrets emerge when you look in the right places." Gary hummed as he glanced at May.

"So basically you three are neutral." Dawn huffed.

"Only if Iris considers me still a Turner. I've grown out of that title and seen the light." Gary nodded as Drew sighed.

"We're not sure anymore. We were Turners until the Night League started making its mark. Now we have no idea what we are." May's eyes traveled up to Gary's.

"What about you? What side are you on?" She whispered, her voice barely grazing the air. Gary hummed.

"Night League's actually. I just like hearing what both sides have to say. I've sorta been the kind of person that has held the lines and kept a bond that the sides don't see. Ash is the only one that knows what I'm doing and yet no one's questioned it until now." May hummed as she looked at the ground. Drew gulped.

"If you're on the Night League's side, then what have you been doing with information that the Turners have been showing?" Gary chuckled lightly at the question.

"Well I haven't been giving them to the Night League. Nor have I given anything from the League to the Turners. Actually, almost no one but you three and Ash know that I've been talking to both sides." Drew gulped as Dawn hummed.

"Not surprising. You are the professor after your grandfather retired. And practically everyone trusts the professor." Gary smiled as May paused.

"So... you have been hiding lies?" Gary sighed.

"You could say that..." He hummed. "Now the real question is where will you two stand?" May gulped as she raised her head.

"If I knew who was in the entire Night League, then that might help me understand what I'm going into for that but I don't know..." Her voice gently skimmed that air as Drew nodded. Dawn hummed.
