Izuku pov
"Go take a swan dive off the roof." Bakugo yells at me.
"What if I do?" I whisper to myself. Unsurprisingly he doesn't seem to hear me or care. The school bell rings so I go retrieve my book from the Koi pond. I then head up to the roof. Looking down I steel myself and jump. "Kid, what are you thinking?" A strangely familiar man asks. "Jumping off a roof to die." I reply to him. He just shakes his head saying, "What if I could give you something better than a quirk?" I look at him like he is crazy. "Oh right my name is Masato Masayuki."
What kind of name is that?
"Your mumbling kid." The stranger said. "O-oh sorry, but who are you?"
He smacked himself in the head, "My apologies young?". "Midoriya, Izuku Midoriya."
"Alright Midoriya, the reason you don't have a quirk isn't related to your foot. It is however related to blocked meridians."
'Meridians, what are those?' I ask myself.
"Could you please pay attention, I am going to fix them and give you a book on body strengthening. If you complete the book before UA's exam then I'll give you a better one."
"Why are you helping me?"
"I am your late father's brother.'
'Wait I have an uncle???"
The man deadpanned "No your father had a brother. Yes you have a uncle."
Third pov
He put Izuku down giving him a book and a small box.
"Only open this box after you finish this book the object inside will tear your body apart."
The stranger then leaves Izuku standing there. Izuku just looks after the man he then disappears right in front of the school gate.
Izuku proceeds to go home and read the book in his room his mom no longer cared where he was as long as he was home by 9:00 pm. The book only seemed to have one page, but Izuku trusted the stranger for some reason. When he read the book all the page told him was to do 100 wide arm pushups, situps, press-ups, squats, and a 1km run.
Izuku wondered how this would train his body and what was in the box. However after doing his first day doing the training he realizes how hard it would be to train this way.
Time skip (brought to you by Izuku's butt after the squats.) The day before the entrance exam.
I did it I finished the book Izuku thought to himself smiling. 'Boom.' thunder struck right next to Izuku revealing the man clamming to be his uncle.
"Good job kiddo." He said while handing Izuku the box from before as well as another book this one seemed significantly bigger than before. "Here is the book I promised you, now go ahead and open the box."
After Izuku opened the box he saw a pill and a crown. The crown was covered in a red substance.
"The pill will restore your meridians and the crown was your dad's." His uncle told him.
Taking the pill Izuku swallowed it and the fell to the ground in pain. When the pain left him Izuku took the crown out of the box. He felt a small trickle of blood run down his hand and then the crown disappears from his hand. Izuku looks at the ground seeing some blood. Then looks at his hand and doesn't see any blood. Wondering where the crown went Izuku heads home to begin reading the new book. It has so many skills in it, but Izuku can only use three now.
