(Y/n) woke up looking at the ceiling. It was all a hazy blur as the memories flooded her mind:

The faint whispering of her name, the laughing of others. She definitely went overboard this time.

Her phone vibrated under her pillow. An unknown number displayed on the 6inch screen as she answered it.

"Hello?"

"(Y/n)~" A familiar deep voice said on the other end of the phone.

"Who is this?"

"Oh come on, don't act like you don't know baby," An alluring voice cooed to (Y/n). "What happened? We were just getting started and you left so suddenly..."

(Y/n) stayed silent as a nervous sweat broke out on her skin. "I thought I blocked y-your number,"

"It's not that hard, (Y/n). You pull a few strings and its easy to find other ways to communicate with you."

The arteries of her throat beat against the thin layer of skin on her neck as her eyes widened. It couldn't be true...she planned it out too well. She thought she left without a trace. Had she been too idealistic about the situation?

"K-Kyo..." Her voice shook as that named left her lips. She promised to never say it again. He didn't deserve anything. Not after what he did. But how was he here, on this phone with her after that? Her blood boiled.

"I-I..."

"I did it because I loved you (Y/n). Yet here we are, away from each other..."

"I thought you were arrested....?" She quivered as those words left her chapped lips. The line dropped, and she held her arms around her frail body gasping for air as the room closed in...

Kyo!

*Buzzz!*

(Y/n) screamed, shooting out of her bed. That was the third time this week that same nightmare crept back into her psyche. She figured drinking would throw off this cycle, but that wasn't true.

She blinked twice, feeling a crushing sensation on her chest.

The tentacle of a leaching curse spirit suffocated her airways. She exorcised it immediately with a swift motion, the thought of her ex still on her mind.

(Y/n) walked the alley ways of her neighborhood, a large hoodie on her body. The sun had begun to set already. She hadn't realized it, but she had slept the entire day.
