It was a warm Friday afternoon, and everyone had made their way back to their dorms to beat the heat—well, almost everyone.
"Oi, Nanami entertain me I'm bored!" Gojo groaned, throwing his arm over the sofa.
"No. You can entertain yourself, Gojo."
"You know it's one of my struggles, Nanami. And (Y/n)'s not around. I don't know why she doesn't stick around after work~!" He said uncrossing his legs and then re-crossing them.
Nanami shakes his news paper as Gojo wondered who read those things nowadays. "Maybe she doesn't stick around because she's an adult with priorities."
Gojo just sighed and pulled out his phone. He opened up one of his favorite rpgs on his phone: Honkai Impact. One of the characters reminded him of (Y/n), it was almost funny.
He didn't care that his volume was up as the characters moved about the screen. Nanami was irritated but didn't say anything.
He wondered what his assistant did in her spare time, and why he wasn't important enough to have a test drive with.

The smell of acetone and alcohol-based products was always a reassurance that it would be a great day, no matter the outcome. After all, having a best friend at the nail shop always had its benefits.
"Are you gonna tell me what happened the other night or are you gonna leave me hanging?" Kaede asked as she gave (Y/n) a fill on her worn downed nails. She lean forward and whispered: "Did ya'll fuck?"
(Y/n) snatched her hand away to cover her crimson face.
"No we didn't fuck!" She whispered/screamed. "How many times do I have to t-tell you we just met! He's my coworker, Kaede, not free real estate!"
Kaede looked at her best friend with wide innocent wide eyes. "What~? But you could've?" She pointed at her as if to chastise: "I know sexual tension when I see it missie...you two will probably fit like a puzzle piece."
"Will?!"
Kaede put her chin between her index finger and thumb, thinking to herself as she smirked. Her short green bob swayed with her as she spoke.
"Now that I think about it, I wonder how he is in bed. What do you think he is? You think he's Vanilla???"
They both looked at each other for a slight minute and then bursted out laughing. "Hell no," (Y/n) responded, laughing with her friend.
"Well let me know when you find out," Kaede snickered. (Y/n) let out a tired sigh.
"But anyways, the last few days have been crazy. First I drank myself to embarrassment at the party so he dropped me off home, and after that I got in a...sort of cat fight with this one bitch."
