With uncanny speed, precision and a dull expression, (Y/n) cut through several curses solely with the slicing movement of her katana.

She didn't have to step but a foot forward to send them to their eternal rest.

Demon dog howled, running up to the remains. Some didn't disappear. They were most likely the missing school girls.

(Y/n) would usually feel sad at this type of news, but it didn't shake her. Not like the presence she felt surrounding her body.

The hound's nose sifted between the humans and curses with a sniff and chomped on the ones it claimed as valid.

(Y/n) took a look at the damage. She looked down at her father's katana in her hand.

"Gojo..." She spoke. She could see the look on his face in her mind. He looked sad. Completely terrified. He kissed her like it was the last thing he could ever do. She brushed her lips with her fingers. "Gojo..." Her eyes flickered up.

The wall behind the curses had been obliterated: concrete crumbled over twisted pipes leaking water. Miles and miles of flat lands washed in a gray overcast lay before her eyes. In the distance, lighting struck down to kiss the parted pieces of Earth.

She looked down at demon dog who had finished devouring its meal.

"I don't think I should go back to everyone..."

Demon dog turned and growled at her.

"(Y/n)..."

The warm voice was all too familiar. She could feel her breath hitch, her muscles tense. It was almost surreal.

'This can't be right...'

She turned her head slowly. Demon dog approached her side with a growl rumbling in its white, fur-covered chest: its teeth snarled at the individual.

The blue hair upon the facade of a man's head, was darker than it was when he was human. (Y/n) stared into his kind, yet deceiving eyes. The eyes of a murderer. The eyes of a lover.

Her lips quivered at the sight.

"K-Kyo...you're still..."

'—-WAIT! DAD! DON'T KILL HIM!' For the first time in her life her father pushed her with all his might. She fell on the muddied grass, soiling her kimono.

'Stay away! He's not human anymore! He must be exorcised!'

'DAD PLEASE! STOP PLEASE!' Her stomach glowed, opening her portal. 'STOPP!!!'

Blood splattered on the grass. The blade she
pointed at him shook from her quivering hand. Her father's life was gone.

Kyo smiled wide at (Y/n). Tears began to overflow from her docile eyes.

"...y-you promised you'd never hurt me," A lump grew in her throat as she hiccuped the morning-star like words cutting out the back of her throat. Kyo approached her. With slow heavy steps, he placed his cold hand upon her head, giving her head a rub.

"(Y/n)...do you remember that day?"

Her eyes shuddered at the question as she looked into his dead brown ones. "How could I forget it...Its been bugging me since you left!" The tears continued to overflow.

Kyo's hand twitched atop her head. He stood before her, an intelligent hybrid who was conscious and capable of his atrocious actions; there was nothing left to assume anymore.

She had been caught.

"It's okay now, (Y/n)~." He smiled sweetly at her. "You don't have to think about it anymore."
