there is no right or wrong way to shift. it all depends on the person and their capabilities. most people shift by using some sort of method which i'll be listing below. other shifters do it by getting into a void state via meditation and affirming. the best way to shift is making your own method based on what works best for you. you can combine methods too if that's what helps you succeed. i've had a few friends say they find its easiest to shift by laying on your back and thinking of exactly what you'd be doing, wearing, etc and treat your mind like a movie but personally, i get sidetracked by doing that.

METHOD #1

the method i found to work best for me and my mindset is if i'm trying to shift into a show or movie world (ex: harry potter) i would lay in bed and get comfortable like i'm going to sleep, put on a lofi version of the theme song or music that's continuously in the show/movie and think of what i would look like in that reality, who i would be talking to most, main events that will be happening and what i want to happen. i tense up all my body, starting at my feet and slowly moving up my body and release. controlling my breathing is a big one. don't focus on big breaths, just breathe normally but focus on it.

METHOD #2

think.. where are you right now? before you can create massive shifts in your life, you need to take a look at your current life. without your mind wandering, write down the answer to these questions. 1) what are the things holding me back from getting what i want? 2) what's bothering me so much about this? 3) what am i judging myself about? 4) what lessons in life have i learnt? 4) what am i most grateful for? once you've made peace with yourself you have to ask what you want. you can also start off each sentence with "i am" or "i have" instead of "i want" or "i wish". (ex: "i am going to shift" instead of "i want to shift") it tells your mind what you want. now you need to decide on what you want and how you want it. you need to commit with it and be optimistic. remember, you don't have to be clinged to your identity. your shifting self can be whoever or whatever! be creative.

METHOD #3 (RAVEN METHOD)

lay on your back in a starfish position (no limbs touching, make like a star with your body). count to 100. after you reach 100, visualize your desired reality, say your affirmations, and go to sleep. you should wake up in your desired reality.

METHOD #4 (TRAIN METHOD)

visualize yourself on a train, you are heading to your dr. be very comfortable and self affirm on your way there. look out the window and visualize scenes from your desired reality playing out. when you feel like you've arrived at your desired reality, open your eyes.

METHOD #5 (PILLOW METHOD)

write down affirmations and where you want to go (can be on paper or your phone, but do NOT put your phone somewhere it will over heat). place under your pillow or near you, and go to sleep. you can also put your script with it. this method goes well with other methods like the Raven and Sunni methods.

METHOD #6 (SUNNI METHOD)

lay down in a comfortable position and imagine your are physically in your desired reality. the pillows, blankets, sheets, etc, ARE IN YOUR DESIRED REALITY. feel it!! constantly affirm and visualize your desired reality until you fall asleep. when you wake up you should be there. (similar to mine)
