It was Adelina's favorite place in the whole word. Her parents raised her in the city since it was also her mother's favorite place. She remembered stories her parents told her. They told her about the dates and restaurants. So of course it was also Adelina's favorite restaurant.
She waited as the man scooped her ice cream.
"Here you go ma'am"
"Thank you," Adelina smiled as she walked out.
She closed her eyes as she felt the wind around her.
Adelina decided to walk around the beach. There were tons of stores but Adelina just wanted to enjoy the fresh air. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a voice.
"Adelina"
She stopped as she recognized the voice turning around. She was face to face with Ramon.
Adelina smiled and asked, "What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to talk to you and i asked your uncle and he said you were here."
"Oh, well what did you want to talk about?" Adelina asked.
Ramon grinned and asked,"I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date."
She grinned and replied, "of course"
Ramon smiled, "Well do you have anything in mind?"
"Maybe we can just walk around if that is fine with you."
"anything you wanna do i'll do."
Adelina smiled as they walked around and talked about their life.
"So where do you see yourself in a couple year?" Adelina asked.
"i'm not sure, maybe married. You?"
She smiled,"Maybe married and a kid."
Ramon smiled and thought about it.
"Would you ever get into this type of business with your uncle?"
"umm i'm not sure. It is super complicated and sometimes dangerous."
"true, true. Would you every maybe marry someone who was involved in this business?"
Adelina laughed and asked, "Are you referring to yourself?"
"Maybe, maybe not. But i mean you gotta be careful with who you pick."
Adelina thought about what he said.
"yea your right," She mumbled.

They walked for hours and it was almost dark.
"Umm I think i should be heading home now" Adelina said frowning.
"But don't worry, I had a good time" She said stopping and looking up at him.
He stopped and looked at her. Looking at all the beautiful features she had.
long lashes, nice long hair, dimples on each side of her face, hazel eyes
He was snapped out of it when he heard her voice.
"are you ok?"
"oh yea.. do you wanna maybe come back with me to my house?" Ramon asked
"Yea I would like that"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adelina and Ramon walked in the house as quiet as they could. They walked up the stairs to ramons room and closed the door. Adelina looked around the room grinning.
"What?" Ramon asked.
"Nothing.. It's just your room is very neat for a boy like you"
"A boy like me huh?"
Ramon picked up Adelina and started tickling her.
"Shh, your going to wake up my family."
"Well then stop tickling me." Adelina smiled.
He stopped and looked at her. It felt like he was the luckiest man in the world.
"Umm, do you have anything I could wear?"
"I will be right back" Ramon replied leaving the room.
Adelina sighed sitting up on the bed waiting.
A couple minutes passed and Ramon came back with a nightgown.
"Here you go princess."
Adelina blushed, "Thank you handsome."
Ramon showed her the bathroom and she changed. When she came out, Ramon just stared at her.
"What?"
"Nothing, you just look very pretty." Ramon said approaching her.
They both got into bed staring at the ceiling.
"So....how is life with your family? I bet it's hard sometimes," Adelina asked.
"I mean sometimes it's hard, but we're family."
"yea.."
"Do you ever miss....your parents?" Ramon asked.
Adelina smiled,"Yes I do, I just wish there were here to see me grow up."
"Well at least you have your uncle"
"Yea, but everyone get taken from you at one point."
Adelina yawned, "I think i'm going to sleep."
"ok.."
Adelina turned to her side and slowly drifted off to sleep while Ramon stayed awake thinking about what they would look like if they had a family.
