Adelina was bored out of her mind. Now that she was pregnant, she had to be super cautious. Most of her time she wandered around the Arellano-Félix property. The family was having a meeting about how the Colombians were gonna pay them back.
She was never present at the meetings anymore because it would just add an extra amount of stress on her and that wasn't good. Adelina tried to distract herself from everything going on.
Adelina wanted to go out like before but it was harder. There was a fear that she would be taken and questioned. Especially after her uncle's passing.

The young girl placed the phone down and sat on the nearest chair. Her back had been killing her lately. She sighed and rubbed her forehead in disbelief.
Hector Palma's family was dead. By the one man who she never imagined would do such a thing. It was all for fear, but it was working. Now she was worried about how the business would be now.
Adelina rubbed her stomach, grinning once she felt the baby kicking. The young mom had always imagined having kids but in a safe environment.
Her due date was nearing and she was scared. Ramon's sisters helped her as much as they could with advice. Adelina didn't have much of a mother figure in her life. There were times where she kept doubting herself, but Ramón had to remind her.
Ramón was currently setting up a crib in their bedroom. Adelina felt safer with the baby in their bedroom. She sat in the rocking chair admiring her view.
"How long will you be gone?" Adelina asked Ramón. "Just a couple hours, Felix called a meeting, probably about the Colombians," Ramón sighed. He would rather stay here than go to the meeting.
"I can't believe he really murdered Palma's family. He is a monster." Adelina looked at Ramón with tears in her eyes.
Ramón walked over to her and squatted down. "Mi amor. Don't worry. I will keep you and the baby safe, no matter what." Adelina nodded and lent into Ramón's touch.

Adelina sat at her vanity getting ready for bed while Ramón explained what went down at the meeting. She was shocked that everyone went going against Felix but not too much. He was full of shit sometimes. Now that he was arrested, the plazas were spitting up and going solo.
"What is going to happen now?" She asked him worried.
"Well now we all control our territory. We won't need to rely on each other moving forward. But i'm hoping sinaloa doesn't cause too much trouble, Chapo can never be satisfied." Ramon grinned while Adelina chuckled at the mention of Chapo.
"You boys never got along," Adelina rolling her eyes, "Well since 'that' is over. Let's go to bed, this baby is draining my energy."
Adelina lays on her side of the bed waiting for Ramón. They cuddle under the sheets and get comfortable.
Adelina finally drifts off, But Ramón...he is thinking about what will happen next.
Authors note: I know i haven't updated this book in forever. Buttt since Griselda released, I have been watching Narcos:Mexico again and finally found the urge to start writing again. I do have some drafts saved for S3 so expect those to publish in a week or 2. Let me know what you think and what I should include for next season!
