p a r t I

Sirius's POV:
as i cheerily walk up to my best mates, James Potter, front door i wonder what this next week will hold for us. we are going to diagon alley for school supplies and to platform 9 3/4 together but that's all i know so far. i leave my trunk on the porch and walk up to the front door.
"knock knoooock!!" i say whilst rapping the door. the
door opened and i expected to see my dear old friend prongs but this angelic being was most definitely NOT male. she had y/h/c hair with y/e/c eyes that glittered in the sunlight. she was bloody gorgeous and i just saw her and i know she's the one for me. i calmly recompose myself for my jaw had dropped in an instant and pulled on my infamous, lady winning smirk.
"well hullo, darling..... what's your name???"
"the names y/n, y/n potter." she reaches out to shake my hand calmly while blowing a bubble with her gum.
"sirius. sirius black." i say with a wink.
"ohhhh well it's a pleasure to meet you. why don't you come in? i'll get my brother." she says with a smile then clears her throat then turns towards the stairs, cups her hands around her mouth and shouts,
"JAMES GET YOUR DAMNED ASS DOWN HERE YOUR FRIEND IS HERE!!!" james appears in an instant and gives y/n a glare.
"y'know that was rather loud y/n. best watch your mouth..."
"we all know your just as bad prongsie." i say with a light chuckle and then am attacked by my fellow marauder.
"how's it going?"
"just dandy. excited to see lily and start our 5th year?"
"very much so."
"oi, darling, what year are you in?"
"4th but i'm taking 5th year classes." she says with a smirk before walking to the kitchen. i notice she has an impeccable arse without james noticing.
"she's quite smart. i think she'll be in ravenclaw but mum and dad both say she'll be a slytherin."
"only slytherin i'll ever be fond of...." i say under my breath.
"want to head upstairs and get settled in?"
"sure let's go." i say while picking up my trunk and then starting to haul it up the staircase.
